Sheffield United were shocking tonight. I am not a fan of them and I still think they are overrated/useless. If we draw them in the quarter finals then we will beat them. This is from someone who thinks the Toon are rubbish by the way. Disagree with you on that. Sheffield United have become a solid enough team with a good foundation; Wilder's had years to drill in the style of play we're seeing today and it has been, more often than not, effective. They're not a perfect team by any means but their general play is a lot better than ours. (I've seen quite a bit of Sheffield United over the years fwiw). Disagree with your comments but sadly you will point to the league table as proof of Sheff Utd dominance. I would love to put a team (actually like ours) against them because their whole defence are six foot six centre halfs from the sixties. Slow, ponderous and cant pass a ball. A quick movement fast passing team would blow these away.

I've said this on other threads, we are very similar to the mackem last 3/4 seasons in The Premier League. We are fluking results, our man of the match most games is the goalkeeper and our game plan/formation is non existent. It's guaranteed we "celebrate" avoiding relegation and the sheep will be happy enough to take the same shit for another year. And repeat! Oh, and we are giving away free tickets. Almost forgot.

Never in a million years is this bloke a striker! I don't think hes a striker either. However, he shows flashes of decent play on the wings now and again. Having said that, I do feel for him because there is usually fuck all for him to pass to most of the time he has the ball with him. He's shit, but I feel he could look somewhat decent if we had something of a well drilled attacking plan. Still, not a 40m player and most certainly not a striker/player you rely on for regular goals at this level - which just makes the transfer all the more baffling. Well at least we both agree he is shit. I certainly haven't seen these flashes of decent play however. He doesn't even have any pace. I haven't got a clue why he is here, what purpose he is or even how he ended up being a professional and getting paid for it. I do agree we play with no game plan etc
