A draw probably. Might even be 2-2. Then Bruce will praise the fantastic point gained "and hopefully shut a few people up". F@ckin idiot!

The hope is probably that this 'new set of eyes' will advise Bacon boy where the team is lacking, and give ideas/options how to improve it. But, as it seems Bruce isn't fully onbaord with this appointment, he'll probably ignore the advice and things wont change. At that point we may see Bruce pedalled and this new 'coach' step up. Hopefully not too late though. This is what I think.

We were just as s*** last season as well when you couldn't stop telling people people Bruce was doing a good job This run has been worst than last season. At no point did I say Bruce did a good job. I said last season, he did an okay job. Stop lying Nobody, not a good look. I think you actually claimed Bruce had “Done a good job with team spirit”. That seems to have vanished now for some reason. Perhaps he hadn’t done a good job with that supposed team spirit after all? No the team spirit is f***ed now. Clearly not playing for him. I know confidence is a huge thing in football but I wonder what’s changed this season for that teams spirit to completely go? We played shit football last season but we definitely had good team spirit and we never went on massively bad runs (worst was 3 losses then we picked up 4 points from next 2 games away to Wolves and home to Chelsea). We always picked up a result when we needed one. This season Bruce has nothing tactically and the team spirit looks shite now. We need to get Bruce out and somebody new in. We can improve but if nothing is done, we will pick up 1 point from 5 games at best and be totally fucked tbh. We fluked our way through last season, it wasn't down to Bruce doing an okay job. The rotten football we were serving up was always going to catch up with us results-wise, and playing that sort of horrible football meant that team spirit was bound to flag when the luck ran out. It was entirely predictable, and that's why so many on here didn't take that much notice of the points or league position. It could never be sustainable without a manager who knew what he was doing. Well said.

We were just as shit last season as well when you couldn't stop telling people people Bruce was doing a good job I totally concur. Even when Bruce was fluking some unbelievable results you could see the football was atrocious. How some on here couldn't see that just beggars belief. Hello Samp.

"Peppered with shits". Quite apt.
-
I would have you in the team instead of Joelinton.
-
What happened? Last time I listened it was mainly Caulkin avoiding any direct criticism of his pal Bruce tbh. He's been as weak as fuck in relation to Bruce's performance by the way and so has Waugh. The less said about that berk who facilitates it, the better. He's a total fucking doughnut. You couldn't be anymore wrong about Caulkin and Waugh. I suggest that you give The Athletic a read.
-
That looks spot on. It would be my selection also.
-
Does that mean we've progressed on last season? It can't be done overnight man.
-
Anyway, back on topic. Joelinton is absolutely shite! He contributed nowt in the whole of 90 minutes.
-
I honestly thought you were quoting Steve Bruce for a moment.
-
Not a hope in hell!
-
"But we'll sit in and invite pressure". You mean like EVERY single game we have played under Bruce?
-
3-0 defeat. However, Bruce will blame the referee, the linesman, VAR, the fans, Rafa and the a bad back pass from Yedlin. Have I missed anything..... shit forgot Covid.
-
This is a great point. Under Rafa we had Schar and Lejeune pushing up and picking out a positive pass. We were far more organised and attacking using this system. Bruce couldn't wait to get rid of Lejeune and used Schar very sparingly or out of necessity. Bruce is clueless and you can see him look flustered when probed on technical football issues. Get rid or get relegated!

More evidence for De Marco and co to show our takeover was subjected to far stricter scrutiny than any previous. I would have thought the government would have pushed for them to accept the bid. Premier league went to them.... I think they would, but the point is why did they feel they had to go to them. It’s meant to be a confidential process and if scrutiny of our takeover has been shown to be different to others, it all plays into the narrative that we have been treat differently. I expect to tell them that they are going to reject the bid and wanted to explain why (Piracy) or get more info on the buyers. Also we probably have been treated differently but I can't think of any club being bought while at the same time running an illegal sports stations that steals games. I'm still confused by this. Is it PIF that are illegally streaming games? Is this still going on? https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2020/6/16/explainer-the-piracy-case-against-saudis-beoutq-channel Think we all know if the Saudis wanted to shut it down they could. Probably could have but its still got nothing to do with PIF. Separate legal entity which is what do marco is trying to prove. I suppose its a bit like having a limited company over here. I am the sole director and shareholder of my company, i earn its money, i spend it, i have complete control over the business, its direction and its finances. But legally, its separate to me. That's where a problem arises though surely. As the owners and directors test has to find the parties who are have control over said company. With PIF describing themselves as the sovereign wealth fund of the state then the state surely has control over PIF. So it doesn't really matter if it's a separate legal entity in itself in that respect. And there he is! Laugh a minute this lad. Why is he wrong here though? You are obviously spoiling for a fight. Was I wrong? I have no idea, that’s why I asked you? I am certainly "not in the know". Sean knows nowt. No one apart from the relevant parties know f all. My point, and this is very important, is that Sean only posts in the negative. It gets on my nerves. You're a canny poster, don't stoop to his standards.

At this minute in time I’d take Wagner from the X Factor ;D

This manager of ours is a complete moron. EVERYTHING he says is just a pile of shite!
