Pretty sure he wasn’t good from the start for TFC. The games I covered locally, TFC were a mess tactically. That said, TFC are just a mess in general so him leaving for there didn’t make a whole lot of sense in the first place. He‘s definitely the first bit. I first interviewed back when he took over from Carolina Morace with the Canadian women’s team and he had them believing. I think that gets found out at a certain point and you have to have tactical nous to fall back on. I like Herdman as a guy but he’s not up to it tactically for a top role.
