Holy shit, this could be a bloodbath

Honestly, the U.S. looked worse than under the end of Berhalter.

Gonna protest until we get a Haris Vuckic celebration tweet

I still don’t think yesterday has fully settled in to me. Honestly, what a day. It was my first time at a pub since getting out of rehab last year as I was wary, but going and being around fellow fans was a highlight. I saw toddlers in kits, I met an elderly married couple who were travelling and needed somewhere to watch and nearly ended up in the Liverpool bar down the street. Only bittersweet thing is I wasn’t watching it with my old man. We always talked about going to a cup final, but things have been strained with my folks over things I think I’ve gotten in to here before, but he, my uncle, my brother and I were all in the chat group during the match messaging each other throughout the match. My grandad (who played for NUFC’s youth team decades ago) passed away a few years back and always talked about how much fun he had going to the last final, so my brother poured a pint of his favourite after the match which was sweet. Honestly, the win was a moment of recognizing the family bonds that run through supporting this team in good years and lean years. There’s good and bad times, but it’s a constant and something that will always be a part of me at least.

I have no idea what to do with myself after that

“Sir, we need that screen to check their heart rate and blood pressure.” ”G’iz us a minute, we’ve got a throw in”

I don’t think you’re using the term “regress” correctly. Are you arguing that we’ve reverted to the Bruce era of style, cause I’m sure you’re aware enough to know that’s bullshit. To regress is to return to a former state, what you’re really arguing is that we have stagnated which has been explained by others more eloquent than me with the explanation of a lack of transfers.

“Wheels must be greased before the engine of the digger is engaged.” Every editor I had would’ve given me a smack if I had tried to get this line into a story

A Kenyan friend of mine had convinced our Thai friend that as a Kenyan he had a special leg in his muscle called “archibald” that allowed him to run faster. The joke escalated far too quickly when said Thai friend started telling his host family how wild it was that Kenyans had an extra leg muscle

I just had to do this for coming over and it’s non UK holders. Honestly, the site tells you to do it on the app and just do that. Was approved within 2 minutes

99 per cent sure I just walked by Anthony Gordon by the Spanish Steps in Rome. He was with a very well dressed man, who my wife decided was his boyfriend

First half on the radio has been Ando going “they carry a threat you know!” on repeat
-
Purely going off the radio stream, but Tino doesn’t sound like he’s having the best game

JD Sports in Gatwick. I will say I’ve been pleasant surprised by how prominently placed the kit’s been in both Canadian and UK shops. I realize it’s different over here because of accessibility but the top used to never be stocked in Canadian shops.
-
Just got the home top after flying through Gatwick. Was cheaper than both the high street price and the price in Canada so win-win for me. Not as good quality as the one I had as a kid, which could be rose tinted glasses, but seems pretty decent stitching wise etc

Was very much watching in the background but seemed decent. Had a good header, Verona keeper kept them in the game.
-
Have the Verona/Udinese game on in the background while I do some work and I've learned that Florian Thauvin now captains Udinese.

Every time I think of David Guetta, I remember the time he ended racism and gave a shout out to George Floyd's family before dropping the beat

This Man Utd/Wolves feed looks like it’s beaming back from 1980s Italy

Tino very lucky after getting caught on the ball there. Brentford really trying to force the pressure right now
-
Seems harsh to bench Murphy after last week, especially when Barnes hasn’t looked as good on the right

Fantastic interception by Schar
