Bring back the last Thursday in March deadline days. Utter wank Odemwinge and Fergie kidnaps aside since then.
-
That's a double edged sword for me. He's doing so well with what we have I'd love to see him with better equipment. Though the day will come and at the current rate would only be another couple windows, though I expect it'll be one or two from here.

We were a big signing and a loan away from 10 really with every position strengthened. 7 baring in mind the injuries, 8 all things being equal
-
The injuries have affected perceptions too. Very hard with everyone fit to find a player that would improve us. Plenty would improve the fringe players but you just hope you can get by using them sparingly.
-
'small squad' his words, fully trusted
-
In laymans terms its like the difference in running style, exertion and yardage between the Queen Alien and a face hugger
-
Got a great sense of humour do those lovable scallies, thats the craic isn't it? blasphemous to call them scumcunts from scumcunt central
-
That's the problem though. The 'small squad' (Eddie's words) means we cant rest or rotate and are relying on substandard players regularly. We cant keep the first team healthy without dropping in quality. Wilson's never playing 20games which means Isak's not getting any rest, which will effect him, without Wood getting regular time. No injuries and were fine. But that's not gonna happen.
-
Different slant now then. Felt the fee negated the chance of recalling him (thought that was the whole point). Probably means both Pope and Darlow would have to be out mind
-
As much as I've defended him (not as a player) its the most blatant case of looking a gift horse in the mouth to not take clubs up on their interest in him. There's a literally in there somewhere too.
-
Unnecessarily tepid for me. Improvement on Wood and Murphy even on loan and we were away.
-
-
Don't think he'd a pro if it wasnt for his pace. Though at least that's a virtue I suppose. Bringing him on against tired legs. Never seems to pan out that way though.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Wolfcastle replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Mentioned on another thread, on their forum during the Rafa 3-2 loss, they honestly hated that we had the audacity to try. Put ourselves about and raise our game. Like that's a new thing for teams playing the top sides to do. Resenting someone for giving you a game is mental. If we'd defended deep all night like we did under Bruce, showed no intention of attacking and lost comfortably, the way we played would have been just fine by them. Ffs for an hour we were at least their equal if not the better team. Did they have a shot on target in the first hour the negative fucks? Sorry for not caving in 9-0 you nasty entitled loathsome bastards -
Hate to say it but there's no getting away from it.
-
Read that when they beat us 3-2 under Rafa. They hated that we gave them a game, put ourselves around...ultimately that we had the cheek to try. Rafa being a legend there counted for nothing. I'd never read anything like it, you're not allowed to try against them or else its some sort of outrage. Teams always raised their games against the top sides. These c*nts did it to Man United for years, even did it to us before getting turned over off Southampton or Coventry in their next game.

How does he find, in those 5minutes, 3minutes to add on, when the entire second-half with all the time-wasting, ball out of play and substitutes he manages to find only 5minutes? That would be 20minutes added on each half if the same was applied during regular time.
-
Only seen coaches throw or kick stuff in anger about a million times but since this is Liverpool, I'd like to hear what the Premier League has to say about it. So obviously aimed at the officials, cant imagine why after a winning goal in 90+5+2+whatever it takes' minute. Not like Liverpool to scoop the victimhood heat for themselves.
-
I really do think we need something. All things being equal were fine. Its just the amount were stretched at present and the efforts the players are putting in is going to tell on them eventually without being able to alternate them. A couple of those alternate were absolutely carrying too. *See this has already been said but better above. Now I've scrolled past Waugh

Matt Targett set to miss remainder of season with hamstring injury (Howe)

As good a signing as we've ever made. -
Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

What he gets out, often times, with what he has.... i mean that outfield squad plus Isak and Trippier (and Targett who was attainable under Ashley/Bruce but they'd never have had the brains) was a Bruce team. The play, the fitness, the confidence, the effort but there's also a nous about us. The effort again makes me feel quite humbled. -
So because Liverpool are hyper-sensitive about the clock in stoppage time, every stoppage must be added to the time - in full, whereas all the time both sides took during 90% of the game counts for infinitely less if anything at all? Poorly refereed by Liverpool. Marriner was a fine patsy though

Right bunch of babies them lot are. Go on like the worlds against them, when the opposite is true, based on them not winning in a sporting contest. Then when it transpires that they were favoured, yet again, all along continue to go on like fucking babies for having not gotten entirely their own way the whole time. Entitled beyond belief.

Fully deserved for having the temerity to give them a game.
