  1. Just that one. Leicester were always mid-table. Making out he's Ranolph Fiennes because he once did better than Bruce 11years ago.
  2. Am encouraged by their having won on Sunday too. Less desperate. It'll be close. A win would be a bonus. Just feels like a lot to ask to keep the wins going and when you see the efforts in previous games. So much more comfortable with home games.
  3. O'Neill was dinosaur over a decade ago. No plan B at Villa past keep it tight, launch and hope. Hells bells even when he wasn't a dinosaur his football at Leicester was putrid. Horrible team of spoilers. Obviously it would just be short-term but still.
  4. Worryingly just gone through the predictions for the remainder of the season - without doing our scores (I daren't). Got 16 more points is CL or 15 depending on extending the goal-difference a bit more. Worrying because now I know its on. 11 games. Forest, Leicester, Southampton going down unless the latter two beat us in which case Bournemouth and Wolves go.
  5. On the other hand if Villa get Europe this season and Chelsea/Liverpool don't. I can't see Villa finishing ahead of either of them
  6. Seemed like neither want the hassle of Europe next season so they can go all guns blazing at the league
  7. Would much rather be concerned about Villa than Brighton, Liverpool, Chelsea or Spurs, so be it.
  8. Thought it was (Simon) Bird is a Lion Cock
  9. Palace with an interim manager and midtable has got to be as good a fixture as you can get
  10. Ahead of these, with two games in hand and this dreck to come to us if we beat West Ham I'll be proper thinking its on like
  11. Never thought I'd say it - but get in Everton, not just for us, but they just deserve it frankly Fuck off Spurs
  12. Spurs fixtures aren't great. Easily make a case for dropped points in all of them bar maybe Bournemouth h, Palace h (will have nowt to play for) and Leeds away pending whether there's anything on it for Leeds.
  13. Everton, were and still are, the best team. Just on balance they deserve something or at least Spurs deserve closer to nothing.
  14. Not usually confident about games and footballs daft - scabby reds, pens, deflections - but I'm sure we'll be comfortably the beter team against these up here.
  15. They're going to suck us into a game like this when the times comes, after so many years of if, I just cant associate Goodison with anything else.
  16. Poetic licence for Everton to be ultra-negative/grotty and not lose the fans
  17. Though I fear the same regarding fixtures via Europe we somehow managed a long run in the Champions League (1game away from the Quarter Finals) and 3rd under Sir Bobby - with a squad equally ahead of schedule and not quite built for it. (Lua-Lua and Ameobi up front at Leverkusen ffs). Yet at the same time the UEFA cup run to the semi's the following season cost us 4th, on fumes the last few months. Mixed blessing and I'd expect to drop back in the PL until a few more windows down the road.
  18. Scouting at this place now is incredible. Isak, Botman and Pope. Even if just two of them had turned out like they have it'd be great.
  19. He's a lovely watch. Long since submitted to accepting any frustrating elements for the sumptuousness and ingenuity.
  20. "Only 13 wins and 3rd" - having a title winning defensive and loss record and having eleven games left is neither here nor there
  21. Probably didn't want to tempt fate knowing these c*nts, gone and done it now though. Also get f*cked Ten Hag
  22. Yes. Great shout. Probably the closest thing to Brighton he could get. Excepting Brentford are also brilliantly ran but a bit less potential over the long haul.
  23. oooh okay ermm, let me think....errr Brentford, Burnley, Luton
  24. Classic really wasn't it. Classic scoreline too. Got to accept a few chances are going to fall to the home team but bit of a smash and grab initially into not in trouble by the end.
