Used to be obsessed with football - Spanish football on German TV in the 90s before Sky got it obsessed. Yet never once watched a play-off final outside of the actual play-off final D1/D2/Championship. Once watched extended highlights of York v Crewe. But in either case only because it was that horrible post season void. On the contrary I'm looking forward to going out to the shops since it'll be bereft of mackems. Their massive game means less to me than a comfortable shop at ASDA.

How many times have you/we been euphoric at a match and not invaded the pitch? Wasn't even on the cards that this would happen against West Ham when we stayed up on the last day (not penultimate) Imagine how shit Monday would have been if there'd been a pitch invasion, or Keegan's farewell as a player or the championship celebrations after Leicester.
-
Need to start doing something about these pitch invasions, not bothered what the circumstances are it is possible to restrain yourself - doesn't happen in Champions league games or World cup finals, we don't do it. Doing nothing is just encouraging others to do it and the chances of bother just increases - why wait?

No more of this schitzen for me, its nipping me buzz about us, pens isn't it.

A shit version of Huddersfield v Forest
-
Love it. Even if its just innocent. Keeps the buzz from the other night stoked, going to bridge the whole week and game to game now.

Matt Targett set to miss remainder of season with hamstring injury (Howe)

Incentivises any future loans a bit. Instead of that feeling of just filling in and not to bother getting attached, like every permanent signing under Ashley. -
I'm sure its a mixed bag, have just popped in, but I've always liked Rangers based on nothing more than Gary Stevens and that great night at Ibrox for McCoist's testimonial. So happy with that.
-
Jacek Kryzsnowek - Liked the cut of his jib at the 2002 World Cup, champ manager stats backed that up, that's all its based on. Enzo Francescoli Michel - hat-trick against South Korea in Italia 90 is my favourite ever hat-trick, stylish.
-
That Brett Emerton. Did I f*ck ever see why we were linked with him for so long.

Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

That's probably why he did it. The sabotaging c**t benefitted just fine from circling the bowl instead of speculating to accumalate. Making it as miserable as possible only sweetened the deal -
Nah. will have to make do with maybe vaguely following their huge game on here or flashscores whilst I crack on with others things, if I'm in the house and not busy with anything else. Like every sunderland game for years and like every sunderland game for years to come. Insignificant c**ts

He's going to be our Crazy Horse (the radge that used to pitch invade Roma games, would dye his hair and wear disguises to avoid detection). Except Pearson's not the least bit amusing, more sad than crazy and a sea horse if anything equine

That was just great. Pretty emotional about the post match cos several of those lads will be moving on in the summer but they contributed to this foundation if that's what it is, its their moment, they help make it and I'm chuffed to bits for them. Very few places you can have anything like that, even when winning something, it may not even last here when we dont have to firefight the mess left behind, so had to be savoured.

Arsenal were poor but if were poor too or average that's just a horrible pointless 0-0 game, that might be nicked or not. Arsenal's poorness didn't provoke us to play like that, Longstaff's dink, Wilson's near wonder goal, ASM ripping through, Almiron and Krafth combining - wasn't because of Arteta's training this week but Howe's.

The general happiness is intoxicating and fkin lush. Try telling us we haven't got our club back.

The general happiness is intoxicating and infectuous. What a thing to wallow in after these results. Haven't got our club back my arse. That's what this is isn't it? Otherwise its a win on a Monday night.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Wolfcastle replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Its not just the performance, its the application he gets ouf of them, its not even just that its the team spirit he's instilled too, and more. Its frightens me the effort he's put in as does his professionalism. -

Thank you for your efforts this season all at Wor Flags. Pride instilling, atmosphere charging, lap of honour worthy. -
Some boy. I'm usually very cautious but he's in my all-time best XI centre-midfield alredy.
-
So this is what fans of other clubs have experienced over the last 14years when their team wins, the lucky swines. Lads I don't know how I coped during KK and Sir Bobby if I'm this chuffed by this.
-
Well that was a delight. Performance, attitude, efforts, atmosphere. Am as proud as Punch and happy as Larry. Big thank you to all concerned
-
Don't know whether their need and our lack of helps or hinders us.
