So boring looking it hurts. Which could not be said of its bizarre predecessor. Though at the atmosphere wsa just the same.

Did enjoy that booing of a goal against they do far more than any other fans. Like they feel a bit ticked off about something an 'booooo' is just the go to answer for everything. Its not unique to a second-half collapse, all kinds of goals against warrant this. Prices have gone up - point at the shelf and 'booooo'. No seats on the bus 'f*cking booooo'

Midtable club getting midtable results, well if this isn't cause for a reactionary response, turning on the manager (its been a few month after all) and general fewm I don't know what is.

Been in a coma? He's gone

Who the bloody hell is going down this year? Allowing for Rodgers being replaced at some point and probably improvements, its so wide open. Forest having spent a fortune in the summer just sweetens the deal knowing Klopp
-
Bebeto goal celebration sometime soon would be nice. Oh and congratulations.

Totally agree with that appraisal. Villa and Everton inseperable and Spurs until recently exactly the same in terms of buzz, as in not really buzz worthy. Leeds cos of their fans noise/locality has always felt like more but that's geographical. They've won the league in my time unlike the rest and been in the CL so have had a bigger feel than Villa/Everton to balance out the missing years. Villa's been in D3 too. history is a stat i guess rather than gut feel, Villa/Everton > Newcastle > Leeds size of fanbase > Newcastle > the rest / quality of fanbase (away fans/atmos/gates) Newcastle > Leeds > the rest global recognition > all the same recently, Newcastle pre Ashley, Everton pre PL, Newcastle henceforth in short us

Absolutely no surprise but a nice scoop all the same. Distinct lack of journalism in action for what in these times should have been a really juicy story.
-
I like the idea of people criticising warm weather training in Saudi when just down the road at the same time there's f(cking world cup in Qatar they're all watching and these journalists will likely be at.

Well that's just bloody lush. Different watching it back to the edge of an active delicate game in real time. Eddie's face at the end like ours at SJP during the KK promotion season where brilliant passing moves wouldn't lead to anything but brought the house down and augered well for the future and spoke of the work being done.

Didn't help Juventus last time he played against us when he had five strands of hair. -
I dont think I've ever seen anyone be completely shut up, defeated, broken and conceding utter defeat to a single retort yet mackems, of all people, manage regularly and without ever losing the sort of concession to one's betters in jousting debate that's usually confined to Dickens.

They gave themselves a mark for fans? Based on what. Cant be actual attendances now, recently or historically or atmosphere.
-
I noticed there was a thread the other day titled 'Qatar - Human rights abuses 'persist on a significant scale' Hard to believe but Middle East news obsessive and human rights activist Exile didn't make a single contribution and probably never even looked at it. Yet bizarrely despite being utterly dominated to the point we'll soon, iirc, have had 100 average attendances higher than theirs...they do.
-
Could start a chain reaction now. Leicester, Leeds and Everton could do without Villa and Wolves getting new managers and improving. Also picking up potential targets they might have fancied.

If he did come back in and kicked the steward out it would be an exact re-enactment of the end credits of the flintstones
-
Dunno He's got to be related to Count Von Count though
-
Was thinking exactly the same. Rosie, Des, Bob, Tony Francis, Steve Rider even Elton Welsby. Halcyon days of TV football presentationism. Cut above what's followed, though Welsby's smug pallyness would fit right in probably.
-
He's not good like but he's not long for this place so we've just got to get on with it with a limited squad. If Eddie cant get more out of him there's nothing there to squeeze out. Just use his pace and effort for what we can for the time being.
-
Don't think Beale should jump at Wolves. All he can do is maybe get them out of the relegation zone then maintain the parity they've had for a while. QPR have room for improvement where if he managed the same it'd be far more appreciated. If its proper top team okay but there'll be plenty of Wolves' down the road, he's pretty much already at one.

I read we were closer to the bottom than the top this week. Not taking into account so were the 14 teams below us. Also our points ratio if it continues wouldn't be very good at the end of the season....as oppose to the 14 teams below us?! They've no idea how demented they are

22, mind blowing, which itself is a big commentary and compliment
-
pfft and that c**t Klopps bleating on about no ceilings.
-
Was just what I expected of it, typical Everton game, so am totally placated by the victory. Plus you've got to be happy when the Bruce/Ashley era quota of players mounts up like it did 2nd half, with a win They were "Dogs of War" against the Entertainers side.
