There's 3points between them. One was at home one away. Would no point in home advantage then. There's 3points between Leeds and Forest, is Forest away a much easier game than Leeds at home.

The 'mitigating circumstances' are being given way too much importance. Its rare that a manager wouldn't have them. The manager of a team should be more important and should have a bigger effect on the team and no matter what they are and shouldn't render a manager apparently helpless and blameless for any bad that ensues and time has shown countless times they're not incapable of getting tunes out personnel they inherit. There's managers coping better with worse now that having a massive spend on mostly duds to supplement an already strong team.
-
Its been no different. Palace away and Bournemouth at home were harder games than Sunderland but just the same all the same.

Agree under any circumstance but being familiar with the old man first doesn't help. Practically a 1-1 scale in the first picture of him too

Didn't ken Ryder was Scottish
-
Its probably come at the time in their history where the grounds been most filled. Was an occasion when it was full rather than the opposite. Remember a commentator saying when we played them in 2008 that it was the first time in their history or something that they'd averaged over 40,000.

Don't mind either Barnes or Gordon tbh. Elanga on the other hand is complete silage
-
Certainly shouldn't be thinking either/or with players as much as changing something a bit more fundemental than that at this point. Feels very N'Zogbia for Milner esque otherwise.
-
Didn't get to wave flags around non plussed as goals were going in like their continental idols.
-
Was the money and plans to get to the top. Players go to clubs they've never heard of nevermind mangers if those things are there.
-
Penis Colada's all round if that happens

If Spurs don't beat Wolves I'll start to believe
-
I'd implore we played some of the kids....but it might work. Best just do what we've been doing.
-
Been worrying about that and playing Forest for a while. Would sum this season up.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

Playing him cos he's staying aren't we? Probably the same with Osula. Wouldn't improve Ossie Ardiles team either of them. -
Iraola's been tapped up already so we can scratch that.
-
Interestingly the bloke that signed Dublin for Aston Villa had just replaced a man who had saved them from relegation, won the league cup, finished top five two years in a row and resigned halfway through his first bad season.

Howay man, don't kill the buzz

Punished for being honest. Encourages diving. Top work officials.

err that's what makes it shameful. That it doesn't often and shouldnt happen.

Were going to sell some of our better players this summer and have to wheel and deal - do we get to be shit all next season because of the mitigating circumstances/summer upheaval?
-
If the mitigating circumstanes of this season are too much to overcome to a reasonable level, the future ones aren't going to be pretty without Champions League money, Champions League football or a project to sell.
-
Maybe they don't think that losing a player and buying several others with the money recouped and other monies besides justifies a massive decline because thats not a path set in stone and often doesn't go that way. Its basically the way most clubs operate and probably the way we'll have to operate from here on.
