Ticket prices going up almost everywhere, possible renaming of Old Trafford, transfer fees sky high - top work ffp/psr boffins

I'll never forget Art Monk from a packet of NFL cards and gum bought it in the 80s. Sounded like the last person that would be into sport.

Cant stand when England games are on. 30-45mins more today and subsequent cycles of this bullshit to follow. So close to having all the bullshit and biannual fandom over with for 2years -

Lucky bassas, been looking at me clock wondering how this c*nt wasn't over yet -
More bad, cold fallout from these rules is academies openly being seen as farms to fund spending rather than a route to that clubs first team which would negate having to spend.
-
Its still a bit bitter sweet, guess it always is selling young local players, but i suppose needs must First goal against us next season would be one of those typical football things

Imagine how bad it'd be if he played against good teams in these tournaments -

At least played against sides in thoaw tournamenta that Costa Rica aside were a lot better than they've played against here. -
Players are being treat like organ banks. Well paid of course but it still seems like a reverse of the intent of the Bosman rule.

Their club was worth £32m when Metven and Donald bought it. The equivalent of a Newcastle reserve
-
I used to do that on Multi Player Soccer Manager. Could manage 8 non-league teams and used some as farm clubs for others re their best players and to sell them players the top 2-3 clubs didn't need anymore, the lower ones go nowhere the ones at the top just go stronger. Glad real football could never be so absurd.

I bet the FFP peddlers are hopping mad about this despite it achieving its purported goal of making sure clubs operate within their means and don't get into financial difficulty. Forest and Newcastle come to mutually agreeable transfer deal, like 99% of all previous transfers, this is an outrage.

The whole league was specifically formed to further advantage the already advantaged clubs like his and has done nothing since they tried to create a Super League but bring in rules after rule to advantage them even more, but that's still not good enough. Its a disgrace yet I'd not be surprised if he was further indulged if anything.

ha cycle of life - we sell promising young player for massive profit to Brighton > Brighton flip a profit on him a couple years down the line to Chelsea > Chelsea sell a casino to themselves to cover it > everyone's a winner, except football and common sense obviously -

The sad brutal reality is - Brighton are buying him with a mind to selling him for a profit themselves (they'll be lauded for doing the exact same thing in that event) -

Happened with hail in the Spanish cup final in 95, think they played the remaining 12minutes or whatever a couple days later. Understand that but there's far more chance of a fan running on the pitch and attacking someone given the stewarding at this tournament -

If it was Chelsea we'd be rueing how they've managed to get a massive wedge in for a player that's never kicked a ball for them. with ffp/psr romance is dead - forget about bringing in young players with the intent of them breaking into the first team more than selling them to fund other aspects of the club, forget about local players being kept just for the feels of it, forget about buying players your club can actually afford. Its shit but don't hate the player hate the game -
talking about our owners and Villa's owners as having 'fucked up' because they spent and got their teams into the champions league but spent a bit too much relative to permitted income to comply with ridiculous new rules designed especially to do this to clubs like us and Villa - is normalising this bullshit far too much. Even if that's the world were in now. Its like saying someone 'fucked up' by having their left arm offside
-
We want them to push spending as far as they can don't we? Certainly not blaming them for that when I know they'd be blamed for not doing that.
-
Its not even close for me. We'd be no less likely to challenge for the CL with a good team and points handicap than we would by selling our better players, being a modest team without a points handicap - plus we'd get to see better football and more wins. Its an absolute farce they've created. That they think its worth all this just to keep certain clubs happy and entitled.
-
Always wondered how it felt to support someone other than Rangers/Celtic in Scotland. The hopelessness, dreamlessness and pointlessness of the unbridgeable gap outside of a one-off miracle and them hovering around any finds you unearth. Thanks to PSR/FFP, like every other club that wasn't by an empty chair when the clubs by the empty chairs turned the music off, I wonder no more.

Wenger was quite happy to forge his reputation at Monaco. The original financial dopers with their 3,000 gates, modest history and yet superstar players.
-
Its even less fun thinking that we probably wouldn't be allowed under current rules to make that signing - despite getting back more than treble the investment a few years later after record breaking goal-scoring - the sort of football thing of its first 150years that did okay that new rules don't and cant take into account.
-
He's exactly what they need. Unfortunately for them.

Its based on a lot more than throwing two cups like. Been going on like this for decades.
