I get the feeling they're not making the most of him, playing more to Gnabry than our lad. With more service at our place his involvement will be far more productive.

All down to big Wolts winning it and a tasty little play on

WOLTEMADEEEEEERRRRR!!! He's our German Giant!
-
Beating Andorra due to an OG, Jesus Christ, why do we have to put up with this shite instead of cracking on with the entertaining league footy.
-
The guff floating around about Nick, the embarrassing doom-mongering from parts of social media, etc, it's just a tad silly tbh. After watching the Germany match, it was obvious that the entire team struggled, the tactics were rubbish and certainly none of it played to our boy's strengths. I have no doubts to him playing for us, any of these nitwits trying to bring him down, it wouldn't surprise me if it was just the usual culprits trying to unsettle things and keep maintain perceived turmoil at our club for clicks.

Turns out I was right about my description of him all along, we won't go there though
-
Let's face it, he's going to have the best, most experienced people around him at Liverpool to advise on how to play the victim.

Gordon and Botman not reading the room at all, or maybe angling for the chop next
-
Darwin Nunez to a PIF team may have helped LiVARpool con their way to Isak. I mean, I'm happy the rat is gone, but I still think we should have got more for him.

Tomorrow might be the first time in ages I stick Talksport transfer deadline day on, should be a reasonable distraction from the tedium of work for a change.

If nothing else, the strops from players this window has reinforced the belief that players have too much power. You'd hope something would be done, from new rules enforcing sanctions against players who refuse to fulfil their contracts to making a point of getting any 'agreements' in writing, otherwise they become unactionable.
-
It could make our play very predictable, with no options to mix it up during a match potentially, at least that's how it seems to me.
-
Both target men, tbh

At 29 soon, with only a year left on his contract, I would really begrudge us paying over the odds for Wissa. Don't get me wrong, he's fits the bill of what style player we need, just think we'll get dicked on the price for him, which then adds to a potential issue further down the line. He's worth no more than £30m really, anything else is Brentford trying it on. If we go elsewhere and they're left with a disgruntled player who leaves on a free at the end of the season, that's their problem. In terms of his antics for trying to push a move, they're way different to our own rat, not that the average fan or media will understand that.
-
Can't help feeling he's a bit too much like Woltemade, we could really do with someone with more speed, so we have options to change things up during games.
-
I've no problem with the guy, I'm confident he'll be a great player for us. It's not help showcase his ability in these first games of the season, mainly because the team as a whole are dealing with 'issues' that need resolving. He's had moments and he's obviously quick, he just needs to settle, get used to the training/instructions, once we're back to normal as a team.
-
Unlike Isak's input into the team PR stuff, like the quizes, the fan interviews, the media stuff, hopefully Woltemade will buy into the club, his teammates, the community, like our Bruno has. I always thought Isak seemed a bit aloof or less invested than the others when he took part, probably explains a lot tbh.

Just another Freddy Adu -
Could be a return to Man Utd then

However they want to get it done, I'd do it - I'd be offering Isak to all other clubs now (ala FM) at a discount or whatever, just to fuck LiVARpool off
-
Sherwood, the fucking underwater welder, what's he on? Anyways, for me, I'd sell Isak to literally anyone else now at a discount, just to encourage other teams to come in for him and fuck LiVARpool off.

With having the incoming Woltemade transfer, it 'should' give us a bit more angle to put a take it or leave it offer on the table for Wissa (and any other strikers). We'll no longer be as desperate, which no doubt pumped the price up from the selling club. The only issue will be if any selling club needs to sign replacements themselves. I imagine The last price we put in for Wissa may now be acceptable if Brentford think we'd be likely to just walk away, it's probably their last, best chance to get a decent wedge for a player in his last year of contract (which is still over-inflated imo).

Unless I see photo evidence of any potential new signings at Newcastle or read any official statements from our club, I'm no longer listening to anything the media or supposed ITKs spout anywhere - since the the new ownership came in they've proven time and again that the general press and media are completely in the dark and haven't got a clue who we're looking at signing.
