  1. Hopefully more than just threats though, it's way past time that some of the clubs being punished by these stupid rules fought back against the obvious corruption.
  2. You should start questioning him on his own shop prices, the bloke's obviously got no idea how much things are worth!
  3. Jeezo, the amount of articles by people either claiming 'they know' or have links to Arsenal, who are claiming Isak would be available for between £80m-£100m, how he'd be a perfect fit for them and deserves to play at a 'higher level'... I just think that, apart from their low valuations being delusional, it's just incredibly disrespectful. Why the fuck would we sell him for such a price anyway? When we paid £63m ourselves and that was before he proved he could do the business in the Prem (he's literally two goals behind Haaland!). I hate the media's love in with certain clubs, gets on my tits no end.
  4. Doesn't it? Christ, I've been thinking it's any part of the body for ages! This is what I mean about how stupidly over complicated the rule is and how poorly it's implemented by the officials using VAR. They need to simplify everything, stick to either feet or whole body, then give the benefit of the doubt to the goalscorer. Too much fucking around by officials and possibilities of different interpretations have made the whole game tedious and less enjoyable. I stand by the problem not being the technology though and 100% how it's used.
  5. That was stupidly close, looked like Gabriel's hand was sticking out enough to make it onside, really don't like the way the VAR tech is implemented. Think Spurs should feel hard done by there.
  6. Was just about to say, the Spurs fans are bloody quiet aren't they, no encouragement at home.
  7. It's a shame really, he's one of the managers in the league that I quite like, just seems like a normal, down to earth sort of bloke.
  8. Urgh, I can't stick Arteta, prefer to see the wanker crying tbh.
  9. Spurs missing that cutting edge up front, they need their own Isak
  10. Ben White looks a right chavvy rat
  11. Heart says I want Spurs to win to knacker Arsenal's title chances, head says I want Arsenal to win, on the off chance we could fluke a late push for 5th
  12. I'm starting to think that our players struggle when there's any pressure on them from a long term target. They went to shit last season when they'd got to the FA cup final, they've gone to shit this season when someone's told them we need to get high enough to get european footy next season.
  13. This Slot fella that's being lined up as Klipperty's replacement, looks like he likes a snide, sulky dig at the journos and sounds like Goldmember, he should fit right in:
  14. Can't see a wage cap being a good idea at all, it'll deter the very top end players from coming to the league potentially and limiting the ability of clubs to bring in the very best players in the world (if those players can get better money elsewhere). I get that it's probably more of an impact on those current top six clubs now, but it would also affect anyone who finally broke into that clique or needed to pay slightly over the odds to get better players to join them when said players could go to 'bigger' clubs. I'm still of the mind that the luxury tax was a better option, but that seems to have been completely disregarded by the teams in the league.
  15. I wish someone would twat that fucker with the drum, it's as annoying as fuck when I'm listening to the match
  16. ... maybe we're holding back until the second half, lulling them into a false sense of security
  17. Both 19yrs old, the other details are so sparse though that it could literally be anyone!
  18. If we sold Bruno to any team within the Prem I'd be raging. I don't care about a supposed 'verbal' agreement that he can talk to champions league teams, it's the minimum fee of £100m and only to a foreign club as far as I'm concerned. Arsenal, City, Manure, the Scouse wanks, they can all fuck right off, especially with how they've been going hell for leather over the last couple of year getting in cahoots with the league to keep their little clique together at the top of the league. FFP nonces, the lot of them!
  19. Reckon that was all a bit of a fix on that VAR decision, a Manchester derby final brings in more viewer and more money I guess...
  20. £15m-£20m for Longstaff, available in the summer? Hmmm, don't think so.
  21. They could have made more about the haptic shirts we've pioneered and all the good work on them too, if it'd been one of the red team they'd have been spunking over it.
  22. The sooner FFP gets removed in favour of a luxury tax the better, the whole FFP system is a shambolic embarrassment as it stands. Regardless of the implications towards us, regular messing about with deductions, chopping and changing the table, it's just cocking up where teams are placed too much, nobody knows whether they're coming or going and there's always that possible specter over your shoulder and that where you 'think' the teams are in the table, might not actually be the case, so nobody knows what to aim for. Just a mess from start to finish - it's becoming a balance sheet championship for most teams, more than actual football being played.
  23. https://the72.co.uk/2024/04/08/newcastle-united-watch-2m-peterborough-united-ace-put-in-decent-cup-final-display/ Been to a handful of Peterborough matches recently, the lad's alright, not sure he'd work as well in the Prem, but you never know.
