  1. How dare he sit there shaking his head and being utterly disrespectful when the case is as serious as it is, we're not talking about a failed roofing job or something, this is hundreds of millions of pounds! Utter cock.
  2. Lewis really looks like a bloke who is angered at being questioned and is utterly arrogant towards any opposing argument.
  3. How contemptable is Lewis with his huffing and eye-rolling, it simply doesn't happen in usual court, I'm not sure why the judge is allowing it to happen now (unless he's completely unaware).
  4. And all this is before any precedence is shown in relation to actions towards other clubs, the League are so blatantly inconstant and biased towards their own needs and that of those they are in cahoots with, how can this even be questioned?
  5. Unbelievable how biased and corrupt this whole process is showing the Premier League to be - kick us out of the league for taking them to court? But the selfish six get a trivial fee fined for actively attempting to destroy the league itself? Amazing...
  6. Is the little note that Lewis holding a teacher's note?
  7. Once again, something to hide by the PL, attention being drawn to it.
  8. I hope the judge's connection is better than mine, I keep missing bits of what Jowell's saying through freezes.
  9. NDM waiting til the end of Jowell's account to shout "BOOM" and drop his glasses
  10. Would be massively more entertaining that Bruce: Edit: Bruce's version would be "Sometimes maybe shit, sometimes maybe shitter"
  11. I'm not being funny, but I watched the whole match on the tele and couldn't make out any chants against Bruce and not a great deal against Ashley either. To me the whole ground seemed fairly quiet for large spells of the game, with the exception of a few positive sounding 'oooo's and 'ahhhhs' at key points of the game. With that being the case I can only assume that most neutrals or the like probably heard the same, it seemed to me that the entire protest thing was a complete dud, if anything last night made us look like we're not that upset as a fanbase, apart from a handful of people with an agenda getting interviewed before the match. From that I think it's fair to say that the majority of match going 'fans' don't really care - they either really don't care, don't 'get' it or are actually accepting of how the club is run and what it has become.
  12. Aye, seems to have grasped the attention there... oh
  13. "Let me tell you" - Sounds like Gordon Ramsay!
  14. Right up until they appeal the decision for another 12 months
  15. No such luck, even after admitting that he's in charge of the defensive side of our game and then saying that's what's let us down in every post-match interview. All I can say is he must have one hell of a pay off that Ashley's not willing to cough up for.
  16. Bruce does nothing, he adds nothing, he's just a distraction from other coaches doing their job. He's as pointless as being in a closed shop league, run by incompetent dickheads.
  17. It'll not last, they'll change the manager sooner rather than later, unlike us.
  18. You're being far too optimistic imo
  19. It beyond a joke now that this complete fucking fraud is still head coach at our club, or any club for that matter. When you consider that some actual managers are out of work while this guy robs a living, it's incredible, surely we could offer short-term (1-2 year contracts) to someone and they'd take it? At this point there's very few I'd put below Bruce on ability and if he stays we will be relegated 100% I try to ignore the club with everything as it stands. We're an unambitious, also-ran shell of anything we used to be, it feel like death throws at every turn and I just can't fathom anyone at all having anything but contempt, feeling fury at the mess of what's left of us. Why aren't we launching Bruce out of the nearest exit and bringing in someone else? How hard can it be to steady a ship enough to work towards the top end of the bottom half of the table? The team/squad is good enough for that, they just need a manager who uses them correctly and has half an ounce of tactical awareness. The mind fucking boggles.
  20. I wish I'd known how much of a tedious, unrewarding bag of shite supporting Newcastle United was going to be back when my parent's next-door-neighbour got me into football in the mid-90s... fuck-a-duck I swear it's like this club actually is cursed, it's knock after knock after knock.
  21. Something that is potentially interesting, the longer the Prem hold the takeover up - if it does eventually go through and the Prem were proven to have been creating an unlawful obstacle, then surely Mike Ashley, and possibly the Saudis for that matter, could have a considerable claim against the Prem for potential monies/earnings lost during that delay? At the very least could Ashley could claim that he's lost interest on the £300m that would have been in his back pocket had the takeover had gone through last year?... Or is that the general crux of Ashley's potential compo claim?
