This is beyond weird like -
As if the injuries weren't enough of a handicap without these useless cunts piling on.

It's realism to think he'll leave to a bigger fish, no question, but I think it's a weird form of sadism to endlessly talk about it happening and who it would hurt least for him to go to. Maybe it's just me, I just find that part of it really weird, and it all reads like it's being said by a bunch of post-castration Reeks from Game of Thrones. All a bit 'it would be an honour to see him play for Arsenal' for me.
-
Yeah, the example I gave was for the PL, but I am talking about both of them. It wasn't that long ago the FA was sponsored by Ladbrokes. Even without that I do find it weird how they're both on the same hymn sheet when it comes to 'raising awareness' and so on, but then someone falls victim to a gambling addiction and rather than treating it in the way it's presented (an addiction where support is needed etc) the rule book is a bit draconian and potentially exacerbates the problem. It feels like there's a disconnect there for me.
-
Eh? I know, that's why I said the FA and the Premier League.
-
Would rather keep him and not spend my time mentally bargaining about which other clubs he might go to. Stuff like this amongst our fans is where the whole small time thing applies imo.
-
I see Groundhog's point. The FA and Premier League will bend over backwards to touch upon mental health, racism, sexism, addiction etc in often the most cosmetic ways. Gambling addiction though? We'll treat that with a ban, but first let's hear from our sponsors...tons of betting companies...who we're banning as front of shirt sponsors soon because of the addictive and negative mental impact it has on people...who we'll treat with a ban if those people are players, even if they're addicted. There's very little joined up thinking.

And dare I say less likely to go to prison for what Rubiales did than murder, which is the point really.
-
Ah we're doing this nonsense again
-
You're also talking a bit like people only go to prison for murder. People can go to prison for not paying fines. The whole thing was completely fucked up and pretty unique. Although the sentence they're looking for is probably unlikely, it's not one of the things I'd file under the world going mad personally.

Just looking at a photo of Maldini and I mean maybe I am gay?
-
Presumably so it's on the record for if he does it again.
-
I seem to remember Speed scoring a ridiculously good header from outside the area for Wales as well.
-
The aspect ratio makes it look like it was from the halfway line. Still an absolutely cracking header like.
-
Didn't think Bellingham was all that good and took longer than normal on the ball, but that was one of those big player moments like.
-
Give it long enough and it'll turn out that Rafa was right about Sels too

No one's struggling to understand 'flak', there are people saying he's shite, a donkey, nowhere near this level, not good enough to play for England. That's not flak, it the same usual brainless hysteria you see on here in match threads. The same idiots of other clubs said the same about Pope on Twitter when he made mistakes for England, with everyone on here to a man saying how clueless they were.
-
Dunk's a cracking defender, he made a mistake. Fucking hell man, it's like Twitter on here sometimes
