Can't have success if the plebs aren't paying money they barely have, to people who wipe their arses with it, so they can circumvent FFP rules and show they can justify spending money that's actually theirs' on players - with the pleb’s money, which won't be used at all, and wouldn't cover the cost of those players anyway. Exactly what is it about this sane and logical process that you can’t get into your thick heads?

Mackem at work isn't happy about this at all. He's been consistent all season that they're simply a half decent striker away from competing and that the football they play is good.
-
Fucks sake, can't bear that 'Oooh I'm proper no nonsense and tell it like is me' prick
-
Pleased in a way that they've done this so we can all stop with any pretense about who they're catering for and what their intentions are.

Bit early for the pre-derby bounce isn't it?

There's no smoke without fire -
Burn will get back in when needed like, and what a back up to have. Easy to forget that he's actually a CB

The Southampton fan on Loaded Mag said that we wouldn't be getting him because he was destined for the very top right now, but we were a few years off. He absolutely raved about him and then when we signed him, came back on and basically said we'd signed a star.

Trippier is probably the best out and out right back in the world at the moment but where Mbappe, Sterling, Leao, and both Hernandez's failed, somebody Cirkin, whoever he is, will succeed. -
Don't think I've ever had a wildcard work so well for me as the one I did in October this season like. Managed to go from 50 points behind and bottom to 30 points clear at the top, pushing for top 10 in the N-O league as well.

Honestly, I'm sure it was actually his peak for us, Championship aside

I can't remember exactly how many players out we had, but under Roeder when we were playing Huntington and Pattison, with IIRC Shola playing with a fucked hip is the worst I can remember before this.
-
For us to be in a better position than at this point last season when it should be a right off is a miracle like. I said a couple of weeks ago that this is the worst injury crisis I've ever seen at Newcastle and that was before Willock and Pope got injured.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
Kid Icarus replied to Rich's topic in Football
Just been looking at our fixtures there and so hard have our matches been that of the remaining 24 matches only 11 of them are against top half teams, only 4 of those are at home, and we only have 6 more matches against Champions League level/challenging opposition. We're 7 points up on our home form last season with 8 points still to potentially improve upon. If our away form stays a bit shakey (we're -2 on last season) that might come in very useful. -
Remember when he forgot that we experience time linearly and Martin Keown had to explain it to him.
-
Tsimikas absolutely clatters that Fulham player for the winner like. Can't believe no one's saying anything about that.

All about staying in contention with the pack until we get players back imo, don't mind too much what other teams are doing right now. -

That prison food coloured Spurs top might be the worst I've ever seen.
