Similar to the criticisms levelled at Willock earlier in the season and at Trippier's set plays re assists, I take much more issue with the players not finishing off the big chances when the assister has done their job. By my reckoning Gordon should have at least 2 assists, both messed up by Wilson when he was out of form. Gordon's done nothing yet to make me think he should have done much more at this stage.

It's just you not understanding how cardioid microphones work.

Webb is a typical copper like. Assertive and sounds officious, respected and trustworthy, but it's all a fascade for being absolutely full of shit.

Because it's going to open another can of worms. I can't believe people are being this over it naive tbh.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

I was sat right behind the Bournemouth pen and hardly anyone was appealing for it like. Just watched it back and still think it's a bullshit decision personally. -

U.S-based 'big 6' glory hunters, basically. Saying that, it's a good litmus test when even they say something is fucked up. It happened recently when Jota kicked Skipp's wig off and Lindelof started playing basketball against West Ham. -

I've made peace with the Palace fuck up by telling myself we got them back in the Bournemouth and Wolves home matches. -
My uncle is mates with his dad. He'd come to us in a heartbeat like.

I get why it's called a conspiracy by its literal definition, it's just unfortunate that that word has connotations which make pointing out season-long red flags that could be anything from ridiculous coincidence and unconscious bias to subtle 'protecting the brand' briefs and just flagrant corruption sound like flat-earther talk. I've genuinely never seen anything like the breadth and depth of the often insane decisions that have consistently gone their way this season. Everything from little things like Fabinho being seemingly card-proof, to players just openly handling the ball in the run up to a goal. If you've noticed it then you'd have to be a complete mark to not think it at least looks a bit dodgy. -
Overloading down Trippier's side isn't at all new like. Teams have tried it loads of times, sometimes with success but mostly not. Joelinton being there rather than Longstaff might make a big difference, but even against Leeds it only worked for 20 minutes then we sorted it out. Brighton will obviously be far more difficult though.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Keith Andrews appointed at Brentford

Again, like Potter I thought Poch had more about him. Going from two 'project' jobs at Southampton and Spurs and building his reputation, only to go to the two most impatient teams out there. -
Largely agree, but I do think it's a fair thing to throw at Arsenal mind.
-
The trigger for it happening is becoming lighter and lighter as well. It used to be a bad game, now it's not doing something amazing (even though he scored had Isak been onside) when coming off the bench after being injured.
-
The maddest thing about that Barca match at the time was the shock for me. At the height of the Keegan years it would have still been amazing, but it happening under Dalglish when we were shit and had just lost at home to Wimbledon was nuts.

He's said himself that he's carrying an ankle injury and that it's pissing him off

Same with Leicester 2 years on the spin and us this year if we don't tie it up. It's only natural to feel disappointed when a precedent has been set for so long
-
All about context isn't it? If Arsenal had had a late push and were behind Man City throughout, it's a remarkable season where they've pushed them all the way, similar to Liverpool's 97 point season. Totally different story and feel about it when you're 8 points clear with 10 games to go and end up 7 points behind 8 games later.

Very good chance of Pep getting the treble, so depends on that I think. It shouldn't, but as we saw with Klopp, they factor that in.
-
Today was much more about his distribution I thought and it was spot on. I remember how bad he was at Sunderland, but keepers often take on mad trajectories I think. Look at Dubravka, or David James, Van der Sar, Victor Valdes, Navas. They're truly the drummers of the football world.

Leicester absolutely must get something or they're fucked, so here's hoping they can muster something up tomorrow and tomorrow only. -
Thought he was good again today tbh. He was shit against Everton obviously but before that I thought he was good against Man United too.

Aye, Chelsea keep buying their fish, we just nicked their rod.

It's 6 points needed, 5 and GD.
