By my reckoning Gordon should have at least 2 assists, both messed up by Wilson when he was out of form. Gordon's done nothing yet to make me think he should have done much more at this stage.

I get why it's called a conspiracy by its literal definition, it's just unfortunate that that word has connotations which make pointing out season-long red flags that could be anything from ridiculous coincidence and unconscious bias to subtle 'protecting the brand' briefs and just flagrant corruption sound like flat-earther talk. Overloading down Trippier's side isn't at all new like. Teams have tried it loads of times, sometimes with success but mostly not. Joelinton being there rather than Longstaff might make a big difference, but even against Leeds it only worked for 20 minutes then we sorted it out. Brighton will obviously be far more difficult though.
