N-O Predictions League 22/23 - 1st Coffee Johnny, 2nd Disco, 3rd joeyt

Thanks for the breakdown. I read this So if you predict Newcastle 1 - 1 Notts Forest and it finishes 1 - 1 you'll get 10 points. But hadn't realised that the 10 points is if it's already your chosen double. -

Slightly confused by the scoring I predicted Man City 6-0 as a double, Liverpool 2-1 and Man United as a correct result I can't work out what the Man United result would give me in points, but don't the Man City double and Liverpool scores give me 30 points alone? Apologies if I haven't worked it out correctly. -
I would imagine the list will be something along the lines of: Diaby or Harrison Maddison João Pedro Ashby and that's it.

It's been a very boring match like

9/10 An 8.5 rounded up 10/10 for effort and that's everything I care about tbh. Would only have been better had we signed Diaby or Harrison and Dubravka hadn't been a big baby. We signed the left back we all love, a 'keeper who already makes me feel completely calm, our first choice CB who looks class, and one of the hottest prospects in world football. We also brought in Dan Ashworth and a highly rated CEO. It's been brilliant. People worrying about this that and the other just need to step back, realise we can't do it all in one go, and maybe learn to enjoy the ride a bit more, this is supposed to be fun.

Really good window. It's all about strengthening the squad rather than my deadline day entertainment, as much as I'd have loved another signing. We were a RW starter signing away from a perfect window imo. If the right player wasn't available then I'm pleased they've held off signing someone they weren't crazy about. Hopefully it means going in for Diaby or Harrison or João Pedro in January. It's easy to forget that only 5 starting players remain from before the takeover, or 6 if you include Wilson, and from those we probably only want to replace 2 of them at the most right now: a RW and an AM.

What I said, that players grafting their arses off isn't as commonplace as you'd think.
-
You'd think wouldn't you? But it's not true at all
-
Don't get me wrong I know he's shite like, I just like him in spite of that. Always got time for players grafting their arses off.

I might be suffering from concussion or something, but I like Chris Wood and can't quite work out why

Love a bit of Fede. Hope he does well there.

Moura would be class, but more importantly it would make us absolutely unreal on FIFA.

Caulkin's much more someone for analysis than transfer murmurings tbf. Hope's probably the best of a bad bunch in terms of local journo reliability.

It was love at first sight last night like. Clinical finishes.

r/soccer's pretty good, but it's full of insufferable American, Irish, and Australian fans whenever Liverpool, Man United, or Arsenal win. It's so much better when they lose.
-
Liverpool were absolutely shit, we figured them out, and they'll probably win nothing this season. The boos at us are blatant projection from their fans who know all of that if they were honest with themselves.
-
He's godawful like. No one will ever be worse than Drury imo, but Fletcher's incessant need to talk constantly and theatrical bursts of excitement over nothing run him fairly close.

Still pissed off

Corners are penalties for Douglas Luis

Wee man deserves some love. He tired but until then he was excellent and a massive pain in the arse for Liverpool I hope the people who clumped him in with Murphy realise how daft they've been
