The starting line-up was the exact opposite of our problem today, we went to absolute shit when the players everyone thought should be starting came on.

Too familiar a story, very similar to West Ham. Tons of chances for us from the outset Goals conceded against the run of play We're on top and it only seems like it's going one way They score a goal that puts a pin in us and they gain confidence We make subs that make things so much worse We completely fall apart at even a basic level That's a truly shocking 2nd half like, really bad. They're nothing to write home about but they played us like a fiddle and we played ourselves. I can't keep looking at opposition teams create little, take their chances and think of it as just being against the run of play, it's a game plan and it works very well against us. Pope: 6 Livramento: 5 Schär: 4.5 Burn: 6 Hall: 6 Trippier: 4 Bruno: 5 Longstaff: 6 Tonali: 4 Joelinton: 5 Barnes: 6 Almiron: 3 Isak: 6.5 Murphy: 6.5 Gordon: 5

For all the talk of Longstaff and Murphy, it's Joelinton that doesn't look right and they've both been decent. These are shite like, with a bit more composure in front of goal (said that so often this season) and it's there for the taking.

Fucks sake, my VC is Cunha. Really could have done with switching to Saka if I'd logged in on time.

Great news. Now just for another potential 12 months for him to get back to being the same player.

Yeah it's good. All the sort of questions and answers you'd expect like, but good nonetheless

Our record there is great mind, despite their excellent home form and our shakey away form. -

Definitely one to file under useful as far as Murphy performances go imo.

Notice how quiet some posters are?

You talk to Liverpool fans in real life?

Embarrassing losing away to Arsenal.
-
Hahahaha, get it up ye.

The Schär we all know tonight.
-
I think we take it for granted how good he is. He loves being on the ball and dictating play and he can be very good at it but he has such a sixth sense for the game in general that I think he's much better being on the ball less but being further forward. 2 assists tonight.
-
I could have given him a pass, but blowing up for full time was brazen
-
Much more like it. Bruno was quieter, but did more, and Tonali looked much more assured. Just not sure whether the final piece is Joelinton or Willock, or both
-
Quieter but 2 assists and Tonali looked good

Best game in a while from Anthony Isak

Salah is insane like, he was like an assassin or something. Anonymous until it was time to do something

You ever played those Pro Evo/Fifa games where you win the ball but it still somehow always falls to them? That was this match for me, was crazy how often we put tackles in that they kept or dropped to another player.
-
I thought a tackle and some positioning aside he was our weak link. Still think he's great, just think he has way more to his game than that showing
