  1. Thought he was good but faded. Definitely seems to be heading in the right direction.
  2. Same type of chance in the same position that he did the same thing against Barca.

I feel bad for him like, he gets a lot of rough treatment, which isn't punished, then the moment he's stronger than someone else the ref gives a free kick. Don't think he's in great form, but when he manages to get those little pockets of space with movement off him he's great.
  4. We're a mental team like, never seen anything like it. We're our own unstoppable force and immovable object rolled into one. That third goal for them sums it up. Barnes scored and rightly so like, Bournemouth were basically out for the count and we could and should have done that earlier. To then conspire to concede when they had absolutely nothing left is absolutely insane, we're so self destructive. We won in the end and although the extra half an hour isn't ideal it would have been miles worse if we'd also not got through. Ramsdale: 4.5 in game 8 on pens. 6.5 total Trippier: 6 Miley: 7 Thiaw: 6.5 Botman: 5 Livramento: 6 Hall: 7 Tonali: 7 Ramsey: 6.5 Willock: 6.5 Barnes: 9 Woltemade: 6.5 Wissa: 6 Gordon: 7.5
  5. Circumstances basically forcing us into signings at this point.
  6. Old habits die hard like. Completely dominated it until we went 1 up, did our trademark shitting the bed for no reason, then completely dominated again once we were behind.
  7. Radford's will also always be played because it's an incredible strike.
  8. Wonder how this sits in the minds of the people who think the buck always stops with the manager and also wanted Glasner over Howe.
  9. Stop talking about it, it doesn't exist.
  10. Bobbydazzla talking at length about something that's expected and not tangeable eh. NONCE
  11. If you want it banned, us doing it is good news for you.
  12. That comes with the territory now, it's been apparent for a while that Pete's been blagging it imo, he often gets very basic things wrong and who he does and doesn't rate makes no sense. Big part of why I don't listen to FR anymore.
  13. @Ashley17 You got many full matches from 95/96? Would love to get my hands on Sheff Wed away, Boro home and probably a few others.
  14. Always wondered why Barry Venison disappeared from presenting, IIRC he was canny good.
  15. Yeah I remember it well. It was bad, but it always felt like we were a good managerial appointment away from being back in the mix. Despite Dalglish and Gullit not working out, we signed some very good players and had one of the best strikers in the league. What SBR did was excellent, but I honestly think what Howe did was miraculous tbh.
  16. Insane is hyperbole just to make a point tbf, but I do think there's no contest between what they achieved in the contexts they each had. SBR came in when the club had just been rebuilt into one of the biggest in Europe, had big spending power over most of the league, had just been in the CL, and the competition at the very top was Man United and Arsenal, with Liverpool and at a push Leeds the only teams knocking on the door. We finished 11th, 11th, 4th, 3rd, 5th and got into the CL twice, but won no silverware. Howe came in after 14 years of Ashley, with most of the league miles ahead of us in every aspect, 6 teams with miles more spending power and pull and capable of winning the league, and all of the clubs knocking on the door now knocking at the door of top 4 rather than the title and there have been loads of them: Villa, Leicester, Wolves, West Ham, Brighton, Everton, Southampton etc. The league overall is miles more competitive now than SBR's era. We've finished 12th, 4th, 7th, 5th, got into the CL twice in and won our first silverware in 55 years.
  17. Hopefully it means something that, unlike Mitchell where the people who loved him were supporters of the club he was at longest ago, Wilson being loved at Forest means he's improved and not got worse.
  18. Go on then: Keegan Howe Robson Benitez Hughton Roeder Gullit Dalglish Souness McClaren Allardyce Bruce (I'll take everyone's word for it, I checked out) Pardew Weirdly, this doesn't always necessarily match up with my dislike for them. eg I disliked Dalglish and Souness way more than McClaren, but think of McClaren more as a hapless nugget than anything else.
  19. This is basically my view on it. I think Howe is the better manager technically, but with Keegan it goes way beyond that and all of that stuff can't be ignored. They're 1 and 2, no one else comes remotely close to them, and I don't care what order anyone wants to put them in because they're both worthy of being number 1.

Classic case of not necessarily being shit but definitely wearing the wrong studs.
  21. Of course you are. Have a class time.
