West Ham seem keen on him. Perhaps destined for them not us.

Really should not make it that hard to spend your cash. Hate that computer says no lack of normal human interaction.

Fair bit of ‘gap filling’ still. (No I don’t mean Kieran 😉).

Not sure if I’m still hung over, but I have just been thinking that playing against a better side might actually improve us a bit. More space to exploit, less reliance on seeming inability to break down teams who are set up to nullify threat. -
Feck knows. Highly rated 20 year old, no senior internationals yet. Value about €25M according to tinterweb.

Just been looking at some Wham rumours (sadly no reunion is possible, but…) couple of NUFC related possibilities: Antonio from West Ham to Forest, Cherki from Lyon to West Ham, Wilson to West Ham, Minteh to Lyon?

I mean, tournament football, often dire , but fuck me change it up. You’re playing against a championship quality side. -

We’re already through. Make some half time changes. Try out a different set-up (maybe listen to seemingly EVERYONE) who wants to see Gordon. -
It’s like a News of the World flashback. Nowt to say or see just gutter journalism.

I thought that until I read how much he keeps himself to himself. Doesn’t socialise much is just focussed on the football/his career. Sounded a bit like David Batty and made me a bit more optimistic that he would leave ‘The Big Smoke’.

He’s a Geordie who supports Sunderland. -
Sounds like one we would be looking at/want. Age, profile, potential, price. NUFC’s APPP criteria.

Errr… who is is a Geordie also. -
So their new manager has had two seasons in the hot seat in Lique 1 with L’orient. Narrowly avoiding relegation first time, finishing 16th (8 wins, -28 gd) and then relegated in 17th (7 wins, -23 gd). I’d find it hard to get excited about this one, if I was a Sunderland supporter.

Haven’t noticed him that much either. What I can recall, is he has strengths protecting the ball and holding up play to bring in others. He looks exceptional in the air/very difficult to push off the ball in a challenge. I think his movement looks good/intelligent forward play pulling defenders out of the way to make space. Seems to have a good touch. Not sure about his ball striking or striker instinct, I.e. whether he is one of those players who is good at being in the right place and quickly taking a half chance. Might do some ‘Wise’ scouting if this continues to rumble on. I’d like to feel excited about what he (any signing) might bring and like many others, I guess, it doesn’t seem that exciting yet.

He was on mine. So was Palmer and Gallagher (ok and Phillips), and now Gallagher’s out of reach, so is Onana.
