What’s this usually you speak if? Mind blown ? -
They’re all proud of their regional capital really.

120 for South Shields as well, I think.

Even if it goes tits up tonight, we’ve got more points/made a better fist of it than Man Utd or Celtic, and in an unquestionably harder group. Not. Much consolation, but should it be needed, consolation none the less. -

Is this the word of God channelled through you? Because I could do with lumping on and winning some money. -

Metaphorically? Or as a means of communicating personal preference? Kind of like we have the power of a Greek God moving the human pawns around in the sky, shown in every B movie (‘Twas probably only one…) on a Saturday afternoon, back in the day. Which nicely captured the illusion of predetermined fate. That was unusually profound, think I’ll reward myself with a cheeky Primitivo (yes @Rod, I’m trying to impress you). -
Fair points. I don’t many would argue that Klopp isn’t exactly what his record shows: a first class manager. The most galling loss this season, for me, was to your good selves, and despite us being on good form and a man up, I think it was a tactical master class (plus Nunez having his shooting boots on!) and most likely pre-rehearsed the way you passed through our press for the goals. I do think that many—who don’t share your love for the man—have been put off him due to man-child ranting which seems to have replaced the wise, reasoned and charismatic way he used to come across in the routine football press snippets and extensive PR stuff he used to do. Crown green bowling in Southport (now there’s a sentence ?) and table tennis tournaments with the squad my personal favourites.

EL for me. Think Sir Bobby would/could have won it if it wasn’t for injuries (oh …) would love Eddie to have a shot at it. -

Howay man don’t be a: Just because we can lose games and, unsurprisingly everything taken into account, have lost two out of the last five, doesn’t mean we’re going to defy the odds and lose to a mid-table second division side. The tension created by the fact we could, however low probability, just adds to the release of joy when we don’t. -

5 games in 15 days. Pretty much the same team: Chelsea at H 4-1 win, PSG A 1-1 heartbreaker, Man Utd H 1-0 win (another injury to crucial first teamer), Everton A 0-3 loss, Spurs A 1-4 loss. So two wins, two losses, and a draw. However disappointing, not a catastrophic collapse. 6th game in 18 days coming up… . Thankfully looks like there will we be 2, or maybe 3, more players to choose from. -

I had similar thoughts. The passing and movement against Man Utd was exceptional. We looked like a pale shadow of ourselves yesterday. -

In case we do ? -
At the end of the season, the Spurs game may prove more critical than whatever happens against Milan, and beyond. ‘Six pointer’ is a trite expression, but they are a main rival for top four (along with Villa). We’re not winning the CL, the odds would also, unfortunately, be massively against us winning the Europa League. If we can stay in touch through December we’ve got a much better chance of retaining a CL qualification place next season (MU are struggling and Brighton won’t last the course). Beginning to think that CL again is the most important objective for our future plans (I’d still rather have a domestic cup win though).

I would kill (…ish) to win that booby prize tournament! -
I think, by and large, this is a balanced and reasonable place. Bar the occasional petty dispute and overly emotional reaction to defeats. But then, I know fuck all about other forums and always think Geordies do it better ?♂️

My main concern is that Bruno is going to pick-up a season-long ban—radge and clearly already brimful of Makemosity. -

I think Maddison was really making a difference for them. Seemed to link everything together. -
Missed a fucking sitter at the end of it though.
