  1. Were the boos not directed at Bournemouth for all the nonsense time wasting and feigning injuries that ultimately ran down the clock so effectively? Like the boos were just for a moment and then went to a sort of refrained applause so I didn’t for a minute think the team were the main target of that. It was easily the most frustrated I’ve been watching us this season but also, if that’s as bad as it gets, we should be fine this season.
  2. The last 10 minutes were incredibly frustrating to watch, Bournemouth were delighted to take a point so all that nonsense, pretending to be injured, massive time wasting, I notice none of that got added on for us at the end. Not that I think it would have mattered, we just didn’t look like scoring in the second half. Bruno wasn’t quite fully fit, but he was given terrible passes all game.. chest height balls that he needed to control to retain possession, momentum lost. Joelinton didn’t have a great game, he had no outlet to pass to so he pushed further forward and ended up ineffective at both. Lost the ball too much. Willock looked busy yet never really did anything. I always think of square pegs and round holes when I see him in this side. Hard to criticise Isak when he barely had a kick, he stepped up when it mattered. Its not all doom and gloom, we’ll likely have ASM and Wilson back soon, that should see Miggy and Fraser dropped.
  3. It’s mental how the situations in the boardrooms of clubs can trickle down so quickly to the playing side. I mean, Leicester have lost a few players but they still have an excellent side there, no way they should be bottom. So I do sympathise with Rodgers as he’s a solid manager. But as a supporter you tend to only see what’s in front of you when you lose games like that so he’ll obviously be the first thing to their minds. More to it though for sure.
  4. Ah man Isak.. barely had a kick, don’t fuck it up
  5. I think he was sort of flipping around in frustration at being fouled and sort of did it accidentally but he definitely swing his leg, I was half expecting VAR to flash up there as it wasn’t a natural leg movement after he was tackled. He was up on his feet and away from the scene of the crime quickly enough ?
  6. Targett’s teeth look like a glow in the dark gum shield
  7. If he has any sort of niggle at all I’m all for rotating, Burn is excellent, as is Schär on his day. My intuition tells me though that when we eventually sign a top class right sided centre back, it will be both Burn and Schär making way. I also wonder how the overall side will shape up when everyone is back and fit.
  8. Im not sure there’s going to be any teams that will have their shit together enough this season to expose them (aside from the CL), but I do agree they are far from perfect at the back. But overall it’s going to be a weird season, 2nd-4th place spots are there for the taking for anyone who can get a run going, including us when/if we have everyone available.
  9. Was it over the line? The tv replays showed every angle other than the one that’s on the line. God I fucking hate this club more than any of the others at this point. Scummy cunts.
  10. imagine the size of his balls

    Loris Karius

It’s a good move, he’ll probably play the cup games (or league cup at least) but if the coaching team can put the arm around him and start getting some confidence into him then we could have a gem, at one point he was thought of as the natural successor to Neuer back in Germany.
  12. Personally I’d rather we have time to get all of our players back from those little niggles so by all means postpone this one and the one next week. Also gives Isak more of a chance to gel with the system and teammates.
  13. Leicester are done with being competitive for quite some time I’d say. The owners are not doing that well right now and that negativity and uncertainty trickles down as it always does. The legacy of leaving such good facilities though will pay dividends at some point when they begin developing valuable talent. Mike Ashley’s wet dream to be honest.
  14. VAR should be run by a totally independent organisation that’s not linked to existing league referees. The issue is that they all have relationships, they look out for each other and although some are better than others, there’s often good ones covering for the terrible ones. We’re particularly sensitive about this because over just this season and last there have been a number of blatantly wrong decisions that either got looked at or were never deemed an issue to look at. Remember Fraser being taken out of it against City? Its not an issue with the technology, it’s those using it and they have shown not to be up to the job.
  15. We’ve had an excellent window in fairness and cleared some of the deadwood. Remember, there won’t be a window that we don’t strengthen from now on. I think we can easily get to January in good shape.
  16. Sad to see him leave but it’s unlikely he’d be playing much. Maybe the warm weather will be good for his fitness as well. He’s missed a lot over the last 12 months.
  17. There’s absolutely batshit stuff about Pogba doing the rounds, witch doctors and something about burying a hyena under the pitch at Old Trafford.
  18. Ayoze would be ideal for Howe, really good at pressing, would have him back in a heartbeat.
  19. Think a cm would have to fit in with a long term plan so don’t think a loan would work there. A winger is different as unless they are top notch, a player in that position can be hit and miss depending on who they are playing with, or servicing.
