Season is gone if Villa beat us in the cup, think home games, particularly a certain derby match will decide if he’s here next year. Has to be signs of improvement during run in, or think mutual parting of the ways will be likely outcome.

Manchester City 3-1 Newcastle United [LCSF 2nd Leg] (04/02/26)

Get Neave on in the 2nd half, poor kid must have forgot what it’s like to play in a real match. -
Won’t be buzzing now. Crystal Palace's pursuit of Everton's Dwight McNeil is over. The Eagles did not get the paperwork done in time and the former Burnley winger is staying at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the rest of the season. McNeil, 26, has made 14 Premier League appearances for the Toffees this season.

You wouldn’t sack him for any of those managers I agree. But plenty on here still stuck in the Ashley era and underestimating pull of NUFC, owners and the Premier League.
-
He’s leaving at the end of season who’s to say he wouldn’t want a pop at the Premier League? He’d probably much more likely end up in London at Spurs, but it all comes back to PIF. Are they serious about their aims, or not and I think we’ll find out for real over next 6 months.

Not really money talks.

Fabregas, Alonso, Simeone, Tuchel just some of the names who could be considered if Eddie left. Attracting top European players through a big name might be the hack we need to break the elite. The above is based on PIF wanting to be number 1 and backing that up though. If we continue to just hear bluster and no action, then Eddie is probably the best man for the job to keep us around the top 8 every season. It might seem far fetched to think he’ll not be here next season, but I’m not sure he’ll survive a lower half finish and there’s some home games coming up, where bad defeats will leave the natives very restless. Put simply I don’t think this season can be written off as transitional as some on here would like it to be, he needs a strong finish and the players he signed need to start producing results.

We looked naive as fuck tonight and relegation threatened teams have got results there. We roll over and get our tummies tickled every time.
-
Absolute sickener and predictable. Don’t take any solace from the first 35 mins, these have been shite at home and it’s the easiest win they’ve had all season. Howe admits we can’t put together a performance for 90 minutes, it’s been the same all season and we look a soft touch. Not good enough and we are treading water at the back when Burn and Trippier are playing.
-
It’s something different like the thick and thin stripe one from the 90’s. That one was a bit of a grower as well.

He’s garbage the Italian David Platt.

Get one in 3 days be interesting if some flights get put on. Applying for a visa You can apply and pay for a visa from the ASAN Visa (e-visa) service. Apply at least 3 days in advance. An urgent 3-hour service is available for an additional fee. E-visas are normally single entry and allow a 30-day visit within a 90-day period of validity. You must print out the e-visa and bring it with your passport to show on arrival. Officials will check that your passport is valid for 3 months after the visa expiry date. This means your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date you arrive in Azerbaijan. For other types of visas, such as a business visa or a work permit, contact the Azerbaijani Embassy in the UK at least one month before your travel date.

Nee mention of how easy it is to get drugs but all things considered Baku should be alright. Always the best trips these ones, just watch out for the pick pockets and stray dogs with rabies if you’re wandering around with a kebab. Can you drink alcohol in Azerbaijan? Azerbaijan is a secular Islamic nation – much of the local population drinks alcohol, and it can be purchased in most restaurants and shops. It's inexpensive, sold even during Ramadan and may legally be consumed in public. Wine, beer and vodka are the most popular local choices.

Riyadh Air and a big non Saudi company are the rumours being pedalled for shirt sponsor next season. Think Atletico Madrid just signed a big deal with Riyadh Air which could be a benchmark for us.

Missed opportunity in the summer along with the lad from Leicester. Both would have given us much more creativity and something a bit different.

Huge game really for the financial benefits alone, feels like a long shot on current form but it’s a funny old game. Howay The Lads -

No surprise but clearly been overused and minutes managed badly again.

A few twitter ITK’s claimed that Nickson had been downgraded to outgoings this summer. We were running threadbare in the summer and obviously jobs have to delegated, but it does concern me that someone like Nickson who had experience of negotiating would be sidelined by the Howe’s and in my opinion the results speak for themselves from the summer.

Never thought i’d be envious of them cunts this season but they’ve got some good players in forward areas. Would have been a game changer if we’d have got Cunha in the summer. Thought they looked very good going forward and have a good mix of creativity, power and pace in Fernandes, Amad, Cunha, Dorgu and Mbeumo.
-
If Ramsey had come through the ranks you’d think fair play he’s a decent squad player. To make him our 2nd most expensive midfielder in our history is criminal.
-
The trick is clearly to avoid shite signings either way. Signing younger players like Roefs or the young kid at Man U are no brainers though, lower fee and wages which minimises the PSR risk that’s present with every transfer.
-
It’s money down the drain with no re-sale value. The 6 million on Ramsdale if we don’t sign him is gone. If we’d added another 6 million and signed Roefs for 12 million we’d have an asset on our books now. The loan market has died a death unless you plan to make the deal permanent.
-
Unless they’re loans with a view to signing them long term it’s a no go due to PSR. We spent 6 million on Ramsdale in the summer and I don’t think many would want to make that permanent now. Sunderland and Man U signed very good young goalkeepers in the summer with good scouting for reasonable fees.
