Looks like the EPL response should be this week, was some doubt earlier it maybe next week. It’ll fall on deaf ears but I hope everyone keeps their shit together when the response comes. Clearly they’ll fight this and sound confident in their position, but the acid test will only be when disclosure comes. Fully expect the likes of Edwards and Matt Slater to paint the PL’s defence as strong, but we’ve been here before lads and know the drill. HTFL.

Always remember a lone Arsenal fan walking past the Duke Of York pub at Kings Cross giving it the big one after the game, there must have been at least 500 Newcastle fans outside drinking in the sun. Suffice to say plastic glasses we’re launched from all angles at him, never seen anyone look as bedraggled in my life. I think the commentator Brian Moore paid tribute as we we’re all still singing when Arsenal we’re going up to lift the cup. Great memories despite the result.

The only danger I see is that they try and pull the same trick as NCSL case and argue the same issues are being dealt with in arbitration. I’m not sure it will be this easy with club now bringing case. Arbitration is on the sole issue of separation, this is far more encompassing so don’t think they’ll be successful in parking it again.

I think he believes they’ll initially contest it, the hearing will just be arguments and no evidence disclosed. He believes they will fold once disclosure starts otherwise it will be car crash for them.

It was used as an example on Friday and according to the QC O’Donoghue it was illegal. The PL said what’s the difference between an MP lobbying on our behalf, and the difference is ones illegal and ones not.

Yeah pretty much the worst defeat in my lifetime of following us. Could only imagine losing in a cup final to the cunts being worse. Still the KK years were just round the corner, like you say highs and lows.

You think it’s non evidence, however 2 leading QC’s, the club and a bloke experienced in winning competition cases think it is. With all respect I’ll take there opinion over yours on this matter.

All about building a picture and last nights evidence is a part of that. No way are they going to let the PL see all their cards on a podcast, and he clearly stated last night it was going to be evidence already in public domain. Look I’m not going to persuade you and Fantail any differently, respect your opinions but let’s not waste each other’s time. A judge will look at this evidence in next couple of weeks and if your right he will throw the case out. But trust me he won’t and it’s going to get very interesting.

C’mon Jinky these folk know how to interpret evidence better than a leading QC and someone with vast experience in competition cases ?. He stated in advance of show he would be highlighting how evidence already in public domain could be used.
