  1. I think your done in 2 weeks expires this Friday if I remember correctly. You might be joining the squad.
  2. Unfortunately you are right on this, apart from in ideal world they should give 2 f#%ks about fans. Their product is looking pretty soulless and uninspiring on the telly at present. It's not the PL's job to do what is best for NUFC fans. It's NUFC's job to do that. It's not the PL's fault that we've been left to rot. That's completely on Ashley. Why do the premier league have fan relation officers then, they do have some duty of care when it comes to fans. Unfortunately in this case they clearly don’t give 2 s***s. Just did a quick Google of Premier League Fan Relation Officer... and you guessed it, there's nothing. Look on their website, I speak from experience on this. I’ve had a previous reply from Tommy the fan relations officer at the premier league via e mail. Pretty generic response re the takeover, but a response all the same.

  5. Back to answering questions, I mean they really are taking the p#ss. Why this was key in the NUFC takeover... NUFC editor Mark Douglas speaking on The Everything is Black and White Podcast had this to say on last night's episode about the takeover and calls for clarity. *** "What it reflects is a frustration that something didn't happen last week. "I said on last week's podcast, there was definitely a feeling within the group and even people around the club and others involved in this deal that there was going to be a decision. "There was massive confidence within the consortium that it would be done, they would get the approval, the money would start to transfer and the feeling was that this week they would be finally able to announce it and have all the media things they want to do. "The fact that nothing was said, and I believe they are back to dealing with answering questions on things, suggests there is a frustration there."
  6. The only saving grace of a rejection, is the undoubted money I’d save on getting sucked back in again. I don’t think it’ll taste the same as my younger years with Keegan, but I’d love to see the city buzzing again. Last night was so depressing, i mean when the cameras panned across the city, the first thing that caught your eye was the state of the gallowgates roof. The place has been left to rot it is criminal.
  7. Absolutely not a rejection means I’m finished for good. What do you think this club looks like post rejection, with less money and an even less interested owner ? Though I’ve flagged at times, my resolve for this to happen has not diminished one bit. There is no club worth supporting post rejection in my opinion.
  8. I think it will be this week we find out either way. Just my opinion. For everyone’s sanity I hope your right. Caulkins tweet about documents moving was interesting, though he didn’t expand that would seem to suggest things are moving. I know, I know but please fu#%ing god.
  9. This is why i'm intrigued because it feels like him asking in public is something that might p*ss Ashley off because it would suggest that Ashley isn't keeping him informed. I think your reading to much into it. Ashley might have a line to premier league but they’ll have told him it’s still under consideration. Bruce is simply frustrated as we are and is urging them to hurry up, or more likely trying to deflect from that shit show on the pitch tonight.
  10. You sold that well from the off but fair play. I thought to mention it for those who are eternally optimistic, but doubt the story or aspects of the story. It would make sense if the club had mentioned it to the police force, but I doubt the Premier League would, as I doubt they will be making an announcement. I don’t think they would usually, but their seems some doubt in this case due to high profile nature of it. I personally think they will have to say something, even if it’s a very bland statement.
  11. The premier league appear so far removed, they’ll probably think rejecting the takeover will give us the clarity we’re after, and we’ll all be happy to continue as we are.
  12. My point is simply ex pros from big 6 clubs constantly set the agenda, and get free reign to spout their biased s#%te. We’ve all moaned about ex Man U and Liverpool pundits always on the box. I would just like to have seen something more passionate from him regarding this.
  13. He works for them apparently so don’t underestimate his influence.
  14. He works for them. He works for the bbc last time I checked. He does ambassadorial jobs for them from time to time. Well if that’s more important than the future of our club f#%K me. Shearer has always played the diplomat, he’s never going to just go off in a rant, he’s not Roy Keane. Agreed but f#%k me I would have loved a keano style rant to get across our frustrations.

  16. I'm sure the PL were shitting themselves in hope he didn't say anything. Do we complain when ex Man U and Liverpool players display pure bias and we accuse them of influencing the game ? My point being no opportunity should be missed to ram home this takeover has to happen for the sake of our club.
  17. Told you he’d say f*** all. He had it set up on a fu#%ing plate though
  18. Shearer missed an open goal when lineker asked him about takeover, Gary even had to ask him if he wanted it to happen. Disappointed in the big man missed an open goal to stick it to premier league.
  19. As a club we are truly fu#%ed if this doesn’t happen, we’re here to simply make up the numbers how utterly depressing.
  20. Who the f#%k wants to get to Wembley with no fans anyway.
