  1. It’s not a booby prize but the conference league is as Micky mouse as they come. It’s great for regular away fans to get some trips to previously not visited places, but even the final is played in a shite venue where we’d be lucky to get a 5k allocation. UEFA have devalued the old cup winners cup and UEFA cup so much with its format, I honestly don’t see the appeal of random group games on a Thursday night against obscure teams, which then leaves us stuck with shitty 2pm kick offs every other Sunday. West Ham got 4 million for winning the conference league it hasn’t moved them forward as a club, or made them more attractive to signings in anyway that I can see. In saying all that yes we’d clearly celebrate winning it, there is a certain bragging right about being in Europe as well, but I certainly wouldn’t lose any sleep or think it harms us going forward if we missed out.
  2. This is the problem the Ashley apologists that sat like mutes at Wembley are a major part of the problem, coupled with the club actively encouraging football tourists who spend money on merchandise, it’s a recipe for a sterile atmosphere. Theres a real noticeable lack of groups of young lads going to the match these days, which is the demographic who will create an atmosphere.
  3. Aye lot of fair weather fans make up the home crowd now it’s very noticeable.
  4. We undoubtedly need someone with a footballing brain on the right in the Cole Palmer mould.
  5. Certainly not arrogant, but when folk are getting upset about a point at home against Brighton perspective is required.
  6. Aye but we didn’t lose, might be frustrating but if you can’t win don’t lose which we did. I don’t really get the tension around todays game, the Europa league and conference is Micky mouse and financial rewards aren’t game changing. The club is heading in right direction overall exciting times ahead.
  7. Because there’s a real defeatist element to a large part of our support fucking whiney spineless cunts.
  8. He’s a perfect fit as Howe has indicated we are also in the market for players who are not quite the full i am yet due to FFP. Well have at least another club under our umbrella shortly which will help in South American market for example. What gets forgotten is Bruno and Isak went untouched by the top clubs, these are the types just beneath the top level Freedman will be tasked with finding.
  9. Great to see Yasir in town for the last game, should be a great vibe around the place this weekend with the glorious weather.
  10. Just a hunch but don’t think we’ll sign Tosin and Kelly, think we’ll get one of the Sporting defenders Diomande or Inacio who we’ve scouted for a long time. Also don’t see Ramsdale signing, if they’re spending that kind of money on a keeper it’ll be the lad from Valencia.
  11. Fingers crossed the bloke just screams overrated flop not convinced.
  12. With FFP restraints this is exactly what we should be doing and would hope with our new improved scout network this is what we’ll do.
  13. Keeper who can sweep and central defender with pace, lets us play with high line would be transformative.
  14. Keeper, Diomande, Sesko and Nico Williams and we’ll win the league next season.
  15. Rather Freedman over Mitchell if that’s the choice seems to have done a cracking job at Palace with recruitment.
  16. I wouldn’t want to be boosting their economy every fortnight no thanks. Besides it’s a bleak fucking shit hole and would be depressing as fuck after the novelty of taking over the place had worn off. The local boozers would bump their prices and take our eye balls out and you’d inevitably have to give a gobby little mackem scrote a good hiding at some point risking a jail term. Just send the bulldozers into Castle Leazes now and start fucking digging.
  17. Multi club is on the way and being looked at by the club, patience College we won’t be 2nd fiddle to Abu Dhabi forever.
  18. Where playing a blinder, complying with the rules, pissing off Levy and the red tops and slowly exerting more influence to the point the big 6 is no more.
  19. Enjoyed him tearing round pitch at home to Liverpool, thought we unravelled after he went off, interested to see how it pans out with Bruno and Joe as balance didn’t look quite right early doors this season though.
  20. Be interesting to see what happens, hard one to put a transfer value on and no doubt scousers would try and take our eyeballs out.
  21. Heard a little whisper from a bloke who knows a bloke to keep an eye on Bobby Clark this summer.
  22. What the fuck is their version of Molly Malone have I missed something the last 40 years ?
  23. Best rebuild on a current site in U.K. has to be Millenium stadium in Cardiff. It’s stood test of time, has great atmosphere and seats are in close proximity to pitch.
  24. In the dark days of the takeover found Ando’s keep the faith messages very soothing.
