Unpopular on here, but yes he has final word on transfers so this window is entirely on him and his job will depend on it.

The sort of deal you’d expect a Moyes, Allardyce and Bruce to pull off, but because it’s Eddie it’ll turn out ok. Wood didn’t turn into anymore than the sum of his parts and this crock won’t either. The intensity Howe wants to train and play at, the 2 moves so far leave a lot of question marks and the obsession with PL based players just all looks a little bit playing it safe if I’m being extremely kind at best.

Awful signing alongside potentially another crock with Kelly, window shaping up exactly as I feared without a DOF shaping the strategy. Hopefully Edwards off the mark as usual, otherwise they better start employing some extra medical staff for next season the physio room will be choca.

Olise is also injury prone to be fair, always a risk with these type of players, Gibbs White more robust but not sure he’s what we need on the right. Personally think it’ll be a Tonali type out the blue purchase from the continent where surely we can get better value. What about that Nusa guy who Brentford were after for example.
-
We know how they fold when it goes to CAT as well.
-
No argument massive improvement on midfield from majority of last season, but still questionable whether they’ll work as a starting 3 against better teams. In an ideal world Tonali and Joelinton alternate and the 3rd player is more creative, at home against Liverpool looked very unimaginative and predictable as 1 example, then there was Brighton away when they were atrocious, jury still out for me.

Looks like a well known notorious NUFC lad DB in that pic

Have to be wary signing players on the back of tournaments, but Milenkovic would be a tasty right sided CB. He’s certainly got pedigree playing in Serie A and still only 26, not sure he’s the quickest but could do a lot worse going off tonight.
-
Don’t think it matters whether we pay up front or not, if he’s on a 4 year contract it would still be spread over that period for FFP purposes.
-
Anything quite frankly looks better than the wasteland it had become, hopefully get some good live music on before and after match to enhance match day experience.
-
If his house is up for sale would appear a clear sign to me, unless he loves life up here would he building a new house with a year left on his contract, plausible if we’ve promised him a coaching role, but more likely he’ll go for one last big payday before he hangs up his boots.
-
Aye under Ashley it would have been an honour and we’d have paid for his travel to Manchester, how times have changed.
-
The lad from Celtic would be a nice upgrade.
-
Potentially dynamite will the PL fold again like in our takeover and drop City’s charges. Could be a lot of evidence showing competitors colluding, leading to further action and cases.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

The Dutch league might be shite and he is certainly raw, but he looks fucking electric for a 19 year old. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPd_-ef9lx4 -

Massive risk attached selling him to Liverpool, he might be a flop but if he isn’t and sets the PL alight, then Howe and co better be bloody sure they’ve got a top drawer right sided player lined up. Where not in a position like Man City where we can let a Cole Palmer slip through the net. -
Some big calls to be made this summer but would be shipping Wilson, Trippier, Murphy and Almiron first before this lad. Arne Slot is a very good manager and if he wants him i’d be wary.
-
Dreadful if we sell this kid without having a good look in pre season, he’s got electric pace and looks like he could get better in a position where crying out for some one. Sell him to Liverpool and you can guarantee he’ll be the next Mane.

At first thought I preferred replica collar but not sure now will need to compare in flesh, though price difference might be the deciding factor.

I’m a bit old to put a number on strip but think club numbers look much better than PL’s.

Nice to see us emblazoned all over JD fuck you Ashley, but the £5 donation is only on shirts bought direct from club apparently.
