Liverpool clearly being told to put up 150 million or fuck off. Looks like club have come to conclusion after Šeško we can’t find anyone as well. They thought they’d unsettle him and we’d be forced to sell him on their terms. He’s not going anywhere time for him to knuckle down, or throw a year of his career in the bin.

We definitely need creativity but if Bruno, or Tonali got a serious injury we’d be fucked. Nmecha bossed the game at SJP for Dortmund, powerful unit and technically very good. Could get on board with this signing, doesn’t answer our creativity problem but think we’d look much stronger in midfield if we got him. On a side note if Isak does go we should be able to afford 2 strikers and Ackliouche.

Would love this to happen.

Going off Howe’s interviews I don’t think very well to be honest. I’m of the opinion that Isak would probably join training, but Howe doesn’t want him around due to him agitating for the move. It’s telling that Isak has been arriving after the players have left training, so technically he’s probably still training hence no club fines. I think we’ll see how desperate Isak is if Liverpool bid again and we refuse, will he submit a transfer request which will probably cost him in some form.

Liverpool have a huge following in Norway the writer is probably a plastic scouser.

Was reading something the other day that suggested due to UEFA rules and the fine they got, they do need to make player sales.
-
It would take a big bid as he seems to be involved pre season. We wanted him when he was at Vasco so I’d imagine he’s still on the radar. Chelsea do need to make sales but not sure he’d be one they’d consider unfortunately. Better and younger option than Ederson would be perfect.

Something to be treasured fan culture which is dying a slow death in the UK. Be interesting to see with these new stadiums planned in Rome and Milan whether you can keep this.

It’s been clear that the 2 positions that needed strengthening from starting 11 were a right forward and CB. We’ve spent about 90 million on both positions this summer. I’m all in on Thiaw I think he could become top drawer and is one of these defenders that can be a rash for opposing forwards. This window will be judged on whether Elanga and Thiaw are a success, they have to ultimately raise the level of that first 11 for me, whether that be from next Saturday, or 4 months down the line.

He’d be a similar level of risk to Samu. I think Šeško has a greater body of work to suggest he’s less of a risk than both for money involved.
-
I’m in the same camp think the window has been underwhelming and it’s still debatable whether any signing has raised the standard of the starting 11. I’ve come around to the Elanga signing slowly, but am i convinced he’s a massive upgrade on Murphy, not really as things stand.

Woltemade’s scoring record doesn’t come close to Šeško. Sky hoyed some stat up yesterday which showed Šeško is the leading under 22 scorer in all of Europe’s top 5 leagues.

We should have a genuine alternative to Joelinton, where absolutely in the mud creativity wise. If Isak does fuck off we’re even more predictable in attack. The last thing we need is another midfield workhorse, where crying out for some technical ability in the final third.
-
We could really do with a top class midfielder like McCallister, or Szoboszlai. Keep Isak and he’ll come round by September once window shuts, but after Wissa is sealed this is where we should be going big.

It’s a massive life event every time these cunts use our airport to fly to Benidorm.

My pick would have been Andrey Santos but apparently played for Chelsea the other day and was brilliant. Such a shame he’d have been perfect with our other Brazilian’s.

Still young and got all the attributes to be a top defender. Nothing not to like about this deal, where clearly not planning on selling Isak, so budget needs to stretch to a striker and midfielder as well. Everyone would want Scalvini but he’d be an even more expensive risk. If this summer is anything to go by we’d have been gazumped as well. They’re actually doing what most have been calling for shopping in the right market.
