James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

I want us to sign somebody, anybody. Not him, though. -
He played okay.

Judging by that, I think the Sun may have been playing the waggish scamp with the headline. As is their wont.

MrRaspberryJam, Madri sometimes cider.

Was going to ask, how does he fund all of this?

Steve Bruce is an absolute cunt but I actually find this clip almost endearing -
Got a ticket for the Platinum on Friday, and the Milburn sports club on the Saturday. How long before kick off do they open and is it worth getting to them instead of the usual places around the ground?

During lockdown, football cliches did a quiz and had him on. You can tell that the host had worked on making a funny and original quiz and Culkin, presumably doing a bit, spoilt it completely, at one point asking if he could just quit the quiz because he didn’t care. I think he thought he was being funny but it was really shit and childish.

That’s Mr. Shearer to you

Mills was the next year. Bellamy tore him to pieces and it culminated in Mills getting a red for simply kicking him into the air. Another great atmosphere as it happens

What that the view of which you were in awe?

Remember a game against Leeds, Christmas 2000, can’t actually remember the decision but the crowd actually rallied and contributed hugely to our eventual win
-
I have been to lots of games, including many that frequently get mentioned in threads like this, and I’m not entirely sure I’ve experienced a better atmosphere than that Man Utd game last December.

On top of which season ticket holders pay extra for the membership- it is added to the price of the ticket. I would happily give it back for the money given that I get basically no benefit from it.0 oh, just noticed you made this point too!

Does he just talk and talk like this? I imagined him as some divisive figure swashbuckling his way through our online fanbase.
-
This is starting to become irritating

No, I’m not as big a cunt as Tories or the Saudi Arabian royal family. What you mean is that everybody sometimes compromises their own moral and values system. In itself it’s a glib and not always true thing to say, but even then it’s not the same as being actively oppressive.

Well interestingly, a good mate I met in London the night before Brighton away was exactly like this. He was surprised I wasn’t bragging and was magnanimous in general. My mate in Boldon has been the exact opposite, constantly puts words into my mouth about the situation and despite me being on Russia on the day of the invasion made a cunty attempt to link the two things. Like that was his opener. Two bright lads as it happens. Guess which one is a Ready to Go regular

Absolutely. But I don’t think I would have stood on terraces like that. I suppose I’m haunted by the pictures of you know what.

I just can’t believe people were happy to be crushed up next to each other like that. It’s an aspect of football culture I have never understood.
