If that’s the case, I’d think we would accept that given the restrictions on finances. Such a sorry state of affairs this is
-
Is this guy ever right about anything?
-
We can’t be selling him without a replacement, it doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.
-
I’d add Willock to that list as well - all 24 years old and under with their best years ahead of them. These guys should all be in the team when we’re winning the league
-
I’m not worried as I just don’t see it happening. Bayern won’t pay more than £10m for him and we won’t be selling him for less than that
-
I still think it has to be minutes played because he only ever seems to be brought on after 80 minutes
-
That was like a scene from an old silent comedy show
-
I thought it was a lot closer than it seems
-
I don’t see it happening, but I think it would be a good move. Adds some experience to the midfield and another body. Question marks as to whether he can still run and play at the high energy that he’s know for, is probably the reason why it won’t happen. That and his wages. But I actually think that if this transfer happens and nobody in the league cares about the Saudi influence
-
And he’s still not fully fit or playing with some sort of a niggle holding him back. Imagine this guy at full pelt!
-
Big Joe on the left is a killer
-
What I will say is that the officiating in this country is just so backwards. They’re letting clear fouls go when they’re outside the box, but giving the softest fouls inside the box
-
That was the clearest demonstration that Isak isn’t fully at it

I just think it’s a sad state of affairs that we can’t spend the money we have to consistently challenge at the top and keep our best players. We’d only have to sell Bruno because we need to get some revenue in. For where we are right now that shouldn’t be the focus for growth, we should be holding onto our stars and adding more to supplement them. Imagine telling Amazon or Meta that all those losses they incurred on their growth journey were not allowed and they had to stop investing and innovating. They wouldn’t be the trillion companies they are right now and the it’s just silly
-
In what way? Genuine question here
-
I’d take a midfield three of: Bruno - Phillips - Tonali
-
Let’s just blame Covid and then take a 10 point deduction in two years time
-
Would 100% have him here. Can play across the front three and is used to our style of play
-
I really don’t think there’s been a team in the recent history of football that’s had as hard a first half of the season. All our cup draws, plus the fact it’s the most competitive Premier League season (possibly ever) and then you thrown in the injuries - things can only get better
-
I hope all this negativity doesn’t filter through to the fans at the game. I know we’ve been shit recently, but we can beat these lot with some organisation and belief, so I'm spreading some positivity out there in the universe. Besides, a week of training and some preparation will put us in a far better place than we’ve been for the last 2 months or so
-
They deserve that goal
-
We’ve been pretty poor so far, still look knackered
-
We need to get him the ball more
-
It’s soft, but you can’t overrule that
-
It’s just so strange how the man doesn’t run anymore
