I was just thinking back to Wolves at home last season when he was unplayable in the first half, running in behind and closing everything down. It’s clear to me that he’s injured as he just doesn’t seem able to run properly

I actually thought we were playing with 10 men given how unfit Isak was. He looked leggy and almost lazy to me because he just can’t seem to run. Clear to me that a striker is needed as we can’t rely on the fitness of the two we have right now

Yeah for me, tomorrow is a huge game for us. We can make another semi-final and have a genuine shout at winning the thing. Maybe with some luck we get an easy fixture, but it will probably be Liverpool knowing the way this season has gone!

Watching him over the last month or so in this run of fixtures, the talent is there to see. He has everything needed to be the best full back in the world for the next 10 years or so and I’m so happy we signed him

Definitely him and Lascelles will get a contract extension. I’d give them two years for sure and then take it from there. Why would you want to be anywhere else right now - the next two years could be even more special

I’d be happy if Philips is brought into squad fairly early on in January. I think he can add something to the midfield and could get up to speed quickly. I really don’t think Man City are concerned about who they sell players to in the Premier League just as long as they’re getting the most value for themselves. I mean look at what they did with Jesus and Zinchenko last season, if it makes sense commercially then they will do it
