I’m also confused when people say we need an attacking left back. Burn charges past whoever plays on the left frequently and does offer an attacking option. Granted he’s not Roberto Carlos, but he’s never given a pass when he makes the overlapping run to see what he can do - he’d probably waste the possession mind, but he’s just basically ignored
-
I’d start Wilson given that he scored and played better than he has for a while now. Give Isak the start against Liverpool to rest Wilson for Wembley where he is sure to start
-
He’ll start next week away at Bournemouth for sure. ASM is generally too much of a risk when we want to play the pressing game even at home and you’d think being an away game it makes the decision easier for Eddie

I’m gonna take the wife and kid (18 months old) for a coffee and stroll around Wembley stadium on the morning of the game. Soak in some early atmosphere all in our NUFC shirts. Will head over to my mum’s house and watch it together. I’ll be too nervous to be around anyone that doesn’t really get how big the game is for me

He’s seems like a really good lad - completely changed my opinion of him in that video
-
Imagine a team with Gallagher, Gordon, Almiron, Joelinton and Longstaff (even) playing. So much energy in the press will scare every opposition
-
Bruno and Pope are just top lads
-
And Joelinton handball is still pissing me off

Tbf, we dominated the game other than for a 15 minute spell where we looked ragged. There wasn’t much to talk about from their point of view really
-
I can’t believe how bad the finishing is, surely we can finish one chance tonight
-
Another dominate half from us again. I really find that my new found anger or annoyance watching us is that our football is top quality. We are excellent up to the final pass and that’s what’s upsetting. It’s so different to not be upset by how useless we are, but it’s the same feeling when you can’t turn continuous dominance into end product.
-
Final pass letting us down again, but I think the intent has been really good so far
-
I want to be proved wrong, but I just don’t see how he ever becomes worth more than what we will end up paying for him now
-
I would be absolutely gutted if we spend £40m on this guy
-
It’s setting up these young players up for life too and they’ve only just started their careers. They all know that they’re going to fine money wise given their talent, but surely they’re going to lack some fire when they’re not playing for their future or when things go a bit wrong

Man City have been pretty average here so far
-
100% Man City win. Keeping the points gap from 4th to 5th is far more important

I haven’t been to the ground since Rafa was manager and know I have no chance of getting a ticket at home for a very long time. I won’t even comment on the away ticket process and what’s fair and what’s not regarding points because I don’t really understand it! I still pay for my membership, but that doesn’t really help these days compared to past years obviously. Under the membership scheme I was able to get tickets for most games pretty easily and took around five or six trips a year from London. It was expensive, but cost I was willing to absorb to see my team even when we were terrible. Ideally I’d love to have access to away games around London where I live, but I get there are people are and will always be ahead of me

Alan Shearer was my hero as a kid so when I really started getting into football around the time of Euro 96, I followed him to Newcastle. I was 8 at the time and didn’t really know what was going on tbh. Everyone that asks me why I support the team (even though I’m London born and living) and I just say Alan Shearer - they instantly understand
-
My impression from yesterday wasn’t that he was overly lazy, it’s just that he’s not tactically aware of how we press and react to certain attacking and defensive situations right now. I guess that will come with more minutes in the side now that Bruno is injured
-
I think Declan Rice would do well on our side as part of the midfield three with Bruno and Joelinton
-
As much as I love the guy, we’ve been very lucky that he hasn’t cost us recently
