  1. I’ve always liked him and wanted him in the first 11. I also think we’re just a more fluid team when he’s in the side. My main gripe used to be that I want a truly elite player for £45m, but with hindsight that’s not a big fee at all anymore - it would take a hell of lot more than that to replace him
  2. Exactly. We just rest the whole team against Man City as that’s a game we can’t win
  3. The way I see it is that you play the strongest possible team for the next two games as they’re massive for us. Just make many changes for Man City away as we lose that game no matter who starts so there’s no point getting knackered at the same time
  4. I would’ve actually taken £75m and Nunez for Isak with my hindsight hat on. Nunez would fit right into our style of play
  5. Don’t worry, someone will give them £55m for him…..
  6. I’m pretty confident that we’ll pretty much go for the same side from midweek with maybe Hall and Ramsdale coming in and Tonali for Bruno

    Jacob Ramsey

I really like him in the team as he adds another player that can take the ball with his back to goal and simply turn around. It’s very simple, but it makes a huge difference to how we want to play
  8. This offside rule is just a joke. Stop this crap about body shapes and just make it where the feet are

    Nick Woltemade

He was constantly showing for the ball in little pockets of space and everyone ignored him for a simple sideways pass
  10. This would be something that would interest me
  11. Trippier is really hanging out Thiaw to dry with the way he’s been paying these last few games

    Yoane Wissa

It’s like we didn’t scout him whatsoever as he doesn’t offer anything for the way we want to play. I want him to succeed, but I’ve always thought he wasn’t a top player whenever I watched him, so I can’t see it. I mean compare him to the guy Brentford signed to replace him, he’s big and strong, runs in behind, has got a great touch and is just a handful
  13. This season reminds me of Eddie’s last season at Bournemouth. The players have been run into the ground, the game plans aren’t working anymore, so many injuries, signings have been shite and we can’t defend. It’s just all around really sad right now as I think he’s done here now
  14. I’d love to see him and Bruno playing the double pivot, a proper 4-2-3-1 system that Rafa loved to use. I think Elanga and Gordon would work as the two wider in the three too

    Nick Woltemade

The game we lost against Arsenal at home this season was the worst deliberate shirt pulling I’ll ever see. It was ludicrous what happened that day
  16. I didn’t watch the game (work function), but looking back at those chances and I actually believe it. We missed like 6/7 one on one chances over the two games and I can’t explain why we only scored one goal - I don’t know why Eddie is getting the blame for this
  17. Yeah he’s gone in the summer then, such a shame
  18. This is why there’s no fair competition in the league. An injured player means they can spend £70m like it’s nothing. It’s okay because they’ll just sell a few academy players in the summer
  19. The top half has been divided into 3 mini leagues. The top 3 are fighting out for the title and then there’s another battle with 3rd - 6th going for the champions league. Our away form puts un in the next group from 7th-13th. Hopefully we can finish the top of that group and the cup competitions could mean Europa League is actually 7th place
  20. I’ll say what I always say, that I love Eddie, but he’s not immune from criticism. I still don’t think that he can’t take us to the stated goal of being number one or constant challengers. We’re so poor in these games against the ‘top 6’ because we don’t change how we play. You can’t go to Anfield and be so open like we always are. We will have a spell against Man City on Wednesday but we all already know that we’re going to leave them so much space and they’ll walk all over us. There’s been no improvement in the big games always from home and I think that will be his undoing, however sad that makes me
  21. These are the links I love reading
  22. I can see all the hard work he gets through for the team even if some miss it... It’s the way we play which is what does him the dirty. He’s being asking to press high, stay in a static line and then be the one that makes the recovery runs. So of course he’ll get caught out from time to time. I really don’t think he’s been anywhere near our worst player this season

    Nick Pope

I love Pope for all his faults, but it’s clear we need to spend big to replace him in the summer if we want to kick on
  24. Same here. I haven’t got over the Tino one but this is actually worse - I didn’t think that was possible. I love that they completely ignored that it hit the hand of Barcola first and that causes the deflection
  25. I’d rather we spent £90m on wages and a transfer fee for Cunha or Mbuemo
