  1. Pretty much Burnsie with a fancy icon I don't think this one's him though
  2. PIF sold any shares in Booking Holdings between June and September 2020 so unfortunately that doesn't mean anything now https://docoh.com/company/1767640/public-investment-fund/holdings-history https://longbridgeapp.com/en/news/24700879 https://seekingalpha.com/news/3637172-saudi-fund-cuts-us-stock-exposure-3b-holds-on-to-uber-adds-novagold Few sites marking that. "Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund has cut its exposure to North American equities by $3B, by offloading some exchange traded funds and stocks... Notable exits include Canadian Natural Resources (NYSE:CNQ), Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO), Union Pacific (NYSE:UNP), Booking (NASDAQ:BKNG), though still holds a $2.7B stake in Uber (NYSE:UBER) as its largest U.S. traded holding.
  3. No wonder he's been so heavily linked!

  5. Confidence hasn't got the takeover over the line so despite being in the positive thread I'm still urging caution on that one! Refreshing to see even if it amounts for an unknown amount
  6. Newcastle's really the perfect club to complement England. Deluded at club level and arrogant at international. Both haven't won trophies in forever and we harp on about the glory days when we still didn't achieve much
  7. Sounds like it'll be a really enjoyable listen. Refreshing to hear from Staveley in any case!
  8. Equally haven't confirmed he's gone. Wish we were sensible and did a retained list last month like everyone elese!

    Graeme Jones

What a culture shock it'll be, being used to training internationals coming back to renewed-Carroll and Hendrick
  10. I can't complain that the Trust are doing something, it's the supposed inaction that makes some fans upset. It's something, the MPs letters in August got Masters to respond publicly (to Chi who has thankfully written again for us), the Trust letter got their 30 minute meeting
  11. On the alternative investors thing yes the role of Chinese investing outward has changed and that's no longer realistic. But it was in 2017 and was the only example I could think of for Staveley
  12. If it isn't PIF I'm convinced she'll try and find another partner. Talk of Chinese investors in the 2017 bid
  13. If you'd rather a transcript https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/amanda-staveley-newcastle-takeover-talksport-20983811 (albeit Chronicle)
  14. Hahaha they've just put Staveley over Keegan, saying Keegan's lines. Impressive overlay if anything
