This. IF he ends up staying which seems increasinllgly likely. The fans have every right to vent their anger at him for instigating all this nonsense and he can't claim that he doesn't deserve it, I imagine the fans unloading on him will be alot easier for him to deal with than the when the players and staff give him a piece of their mind. Once it's out of our system, we'll move on, not necessarily forgive and forget, but we'll tolerate him for as long as we need to.

Good, fuck him. Well done Brentford. Take note Newcastle. This is how you stand up to man babies.

Harder is the heir to Gyokeres throne at Sporting. They'll be in a tight title race with Benfica and Porto this season and they won't let him go on the cheap. Chelsea are going to get absolutely scammed if this comes off. No skin off their nose though, they can always sell the burger van outside the stadium to themselves to cover it.

After watching that Old Firm game, I'm not sure what football is supposed to look like anymore. I'm banking on Forest and Wist'aaaaaam to restore my faith in the game.

Liverpool arent gonna stump up what we want and no other team is interested, we have been left with 2 choices: 1. Despite the fanbase hating him and the manager/players no longer wanting to work with him, he stays and everyone has to work together to put aside the ugliness of the summer for the benefit of the club, fans included. 2. We cave in and take whatever the dippers offer just to get the stench out of the club. After selling our most valuable player at a cut price, we then overpay for his replacement. Option 1 is nauseating. But it's the lesser of two evils.

In an era where every facet of a professional footballers' life is optimised for peak performance and their diet is controlled by the calorie, Joe Rothwell gives me the vibes of a bloke who smokes 40 a day and will sink a few pints in a shithole pub after the match. He looked exhausted when he was subbed ON! I like him!

Celtic have been far more guilty of that, they're so one-paced, Rangers have reverted back to their tried and tested chaos ball that worked for Clement last season in the EL and Old Firms. Both squads are devoid of any quality, I can't believe Kieran Tierney is still able to walk without a zimmer frame let alone play professional sports!

If someone wanted to cancel the entire sport of football and cited today's Old Firm as their main reason, I'm not sure anyone argue against it. It makes our game against Leeds look like 1970 Brazil vs 2010 Barcelona. Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen will never have a better chance to win the league than this season. Rodgers is absolutely finished. Another manager who the game has left behind.

It's been a very strange build up to the game, I've heard from fans of both teams that winning today would be a plaster over an axe wound as they're both completely scunnered over how their clubs are being run. Celtic fans despise their board, they have like 100m in the bank but the board have spent about 8m this summer, mainly on cheap punts who Rodgers doesn't seem to trust and their stale, disjointed squad ended up suffering one of the most humiliating defeats in its history against Almaty. Rangers fans despise Martin and want him gone already, he's been backed to the hilt by the board but he's squandered a lot of the money on dross and has fallen out with senior members of the squad who don't agree with his methods, Tavernier, Raskin, Igamane etc. They've been dire on the league and got slapped around silly by Brugge. Celtic's attack is misfiring and Rangers' defence is as firm as a NikNak. The stoppable force vs the moveable object. Somethings got to give

I'm quite impressed that 6 adult males are able to fit inside a Smarties tube

Nah, get this bum to fuck. Diet Isak. Well done to Brentford for standing firm, I hope our owners are paying attention.
-
His 'nice, humble guy' mask has well and truly slipped for that prick now, he's fully bought into the dipper mentality. Offended by everything, ashamed by nothing, act like they're under siege from the rest of the nation, yet are the media darlings. Compare and contrast with Howe. If a reporter asked about the Wissa saga for e.g. you just know he'd reply with 'it's not appropriate to comment on another teams player' 'I don't pay attention to that, my focus is on preparing my players for the next game' or something like that
-
Absolutely absurd if true. I know PIF want to cash in on 9 figure asset before he tanks his own value and I also understand and appreciate that Eddie & the squad want to get him to fuck, but the club will lose a lot of good will from the fans if we dance to the dippers tune. If we cave in at 120m, I won't be held responsible for my actions.

When West Ham sold Rice, I thought they'd use that money wisely and springboard to the next level. The classic 'sell Elvis and buy The Beatles' manoeuvre. Turns out they sold Elvis and bought the Insane Clown Posse

In fairness, the banner I believe you're referring to said 'we demand a club that tries'. Aiming our shot at the clubs' hierarchy back then who were happy to let us circle the toilet bowl so long as they lined their pockets. Part of being a club that tries is buying player who give their all but also those of the required quality. You could pick 11 random fans from the stands and I'm sure they'd give everything for the badge.

In a profession which includes Fabrizio Romano, Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook among others, it's exceedingly difficult to become the gimpiest virgin of them all, but Jan Fjørtoft is doing his absolute best.
-
I begrudgingly respect their knack for snatching a result from the jaws of defeat right at the death. If nothing else, they've got character. Or a deal with the devil. Very worthy winners of the 'North East Top Dog of the Month' award for August.

A fine squad player, a great option coming off the bench but leaves a lot to be desired as a starter. I wouldnt be in a rush to sell him but he's already all the player he's ever going to be, if a decent offer comes in for him then I wouldn't be adverse to moving on from him
-
If true, that's incredibly shirt sighted, what happens if those two get a serious injury right after the window shuts? You can never have too many good players.
-
Hope today kickstarts his Leeds career, I e got a lot of time for him, hope he smashes it down there.
-
He was the least of pur problems today but I thought the sentiments about a loan potentially being the asking of him, the question is whether we're in a position to be letting an able body leave without a replacement
-
7 points and counting. Seeing this odious maggot beaming in a Liverpool shirt and listening to the cartel simps in the media shower Liverpool with praise for being so shrewd and respectful throughout the saga and rejoice as they finally 'got their guy in the end' will make me want to quit football more than any shit that Mike Ashley pulled
-
Shit game against a bilge team. That formation didn't work at all and we looked every ince like a team that has just had a disjointed, clunky pre season and start to to the season. It'll all come together soon enough, but we're already playing catch up.
