Excellent news that , most important player after Isak and Bruno , teams just play through our midfield with ease when he's not playing .
-
Only Isak and Bruno are a level above him in our squad , we shouldn't be letting our best players leave due to a contract dispute if we want to progress . We would need to spend Tonali type of money to replace him and is no guarantee whoever we bought would be any better . It's not as if he's asking for anything outrageous like 150k a week , just pay him what he's asking for .
-
Spurs are clearly better now than they were last season , however don't understand why people are writing this game off so easily , even with half our squad injured we have more than enough to cause them problems . They aren't anywhere near the level of the top 3 who are the only teams we should be scared of at home . A draw is the least I expect in this one .
-
Eddie has shown he can get the best out of players though , he has made players a lot worse than Rashford look good.
-
Difference being your squad cost about 500 million more than ours .
-
Eddie deserves the manager of the season award if we somehow finish 6th with the injuries we have had all season long .
-
Seen far too many awful away performances this season to be confident about this one , a draw won't be the worst result considering the injuries we have.
-
Was all that Joelinton has signed a new contract stuff that came out on Twitter a few weeks ago basically a load of bollocks then ?
-
He has that Jose vibe when he first came to England does big Ange , everyone likes him now as he's a bit different and quirky who tells it as it is but I reckon soon enough, especially when things aren't going his way he will start growing tiresome and show his true nasty side, everyone will end up being sick of him.

Who is 9/1 with ? Best I can see on oddschecker is 6s.
-
Wouldn't swap Isak for any other striker in the world.
-
Is just something about Man United, you watch them play and its hard to see what they are even trying to do, like they have no game plan or tactics or anything really and just sort of make it up as they go along, yet they still somehow keep picking up points and have ended up 6th in the league and a likely FA cup final. I know that's not even the bare minimum for them with the money they have spent but I would be delighted with 6th and a cup final.
-
We were never going to finish above Man United with the injuries we have even before the Everton game ,them beating Chelsea tonight is the best result for us . 7th should be the target and that will be a good season after everything that has happened . Looking at the fixtures we have a much more favourable run in than West Ham and Brighton so no reason why we won't finish above them even with injuries .
-
Its obvious when you watch him play why Eddie has held him back this season.

I also hate using bad luck and injuries as an excuse but I cant think of any other team that has suffered with as much bad luck and injuries as we have this season. it started with that Liverpool home game which we somehow lost to ten men, we then got the group of death in the champions league and the robbery in Paris, Drawing Man City, Man United and Chelsea in the league cup, Tripper last minute error against Chelsea costing us another likely trip to Wembley. Our local rivals away from home in the FA cup then of course drawing Man City away in the same competition. You get all that then mix it with an injury crisis that I have never seen from any team before and its a recipe for disaster. Its summed up last night by Paul Dummett having to play for us because of how bad our injuries are, he wasn't good enough ten years ago when we were rubbish and he's certainly not good enough now but we had no choice but to bring him on. Literally everything possible that could have gone wrong this season has and that's not down to Eddie.
-
I like him, he's definitely going to be one of them players who can do nothing for a large part of the game but he will then pop up with a goal or assist, I cant think of any other winger like him, he's rarely going to have a match where he is constantly running at his man like many wingers do but he will score a lot more goals and get a lot more assists than Maxi ever did for us. Its probably down to his injury but he seems to look better coming off the bench like against Villa, Luton and West Ham than he does when he starts.
-
Be very surprised if he's still here next season , would probably be a decent enough squad option for a mid table championship club .
-
He's always been a streaky player , never got why some thought him coming back into the team was suddenly going to make us class again.
-
Spurs I don't think he will leave this summer but if he does he certainly won't be going to Spurs . He will only leave us for one of the elite clubs he has a good chance of winning something at. If we struggle again next season and Arsenal come in for him and pay 100 million plus he will likely be off .
-
That Joel Bland is saying we have another unreported injury for tonight but won't say who it is as will give Everton an advantage .
-
If Everton actually tried to attack us and get at us tonight they actually have a decent chance of getting something with all the injuries we have and the fact we can't defend, as it's Dyche though they will likely just sit in and make it difficult for us to score which should play into our hands .
-
Sounds like some more big injury news to follow according to that Will bloke on twitter .
-
Just out of interest what do you expect Eddie to do differently with the defence? . He can't do much about that clown in goal which is the main reason we are conceding as many goals as we do.
-
He does seem to be flapping all over the place every week though, that's nothing to do with not being a sweeper keeper .
-
That first West Ham goal never happens yesterday with Pope in goal either , he would have been straight off his line to sweep up. I can't work out if he's always been this bad and we just accepted it because we were rubbish anyway or if he's actually regressed as a goalie .
