Do loyalty points last forever? if they do that seems unfair, I think it should be like FFP and be points accrued in the previous 3 seasons or maybe 5.

Just saw the Twitter clip from the club account, maybe it’s just me but I hate it when the announcer says ‘wave your flags, wave your scarves’ it’s just makes it seem manufactured if that’s the right word. To counter my own opinion I don’t know if there is any other way to inform the crowd but I would have thought it would happen naturally as kick off approaches anyway.

Watching on TV I too noticed the drop off in noise from pre match to kick off, as the players were in position waiting for the referee to blow his whistle it felt like we had begun a minutes silence haha, it would be good if the noise carried into the match (nothing to do with Wor Flags btw, top work as always you guys)

It’s getting to the point where I’m not sure we can replace him. Sure, there are more technical and more skilful midfielders out there, but in terms of what he brings to our team and how it helps our system/style of play I think we would struggle to find someone similar. For example I’d love to sign Maddison and I hope we do, but if he came in to replace Joelinton then I think it would have an adverse affect on our performances. (I don’t think this will happen either, just an example)

The good news is that should ASM be available, it will be our strongest squad of the season so far if memory serves me right. Bruno, J7, Willock then 3 of Almiron, Wilson, Isak, ASM with 1 on the bench raring to go, gives me confidence for this match.

Just watched the chance again a few times, Jesus Christ it’s horrendous. watching it live I expected him to miss tbh but I thought it would be saved, how the hell has he managed to make that much of a mess of it?! hopefully now Isak is back we won’t see much of Wood.

Some horrendous over reactions tonight both on here and on Twitter. we are pushing for the top 4, and have a cup QF in 3 days. We barely have enough quality for the first 11, and we can’t play the same 11 in every game. Changes needed to be made tonight and let’s be honest, if we had put away chances (Isak header, Anderson chance, Wood howler) then we would have won. The team out there was good enough to beat a league 1 side, whether you agree with the selection or not. it’s not Eddie Howes fault that our 25 man squad contains a load of dross, and that will take time to fix. I personally think this will be a blessing in disguise, we clearly don’t have the squad depth to be in 3 competitions so let’s focus on the PL and the cup we are into the QF. Also our first loss since September so just chill out a bit yeah, we are not Man City yet.

Found this online: Are there rules which limit how many clubs a player can play for in one season? Currently, under the FIFA Transfer Regulations, a football player is only allowed to be registered with a maximum of three clubs in one season. This also applies regardless of what country that player has plied his trade in, whether that is in Europe, Africa or South America. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. However, a player may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season if he has moved between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (ie, start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring). This is only allowed if he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs.

I thought this too, but then I thought maybe we are trying to increase his value by portraying him as our number 2.
