Thinking the same, not seen any tweets from the journos like normal
-
Bruno was in the left side when he scored against Spurs, he can be effective on both sides.
-
Scares me that we only have a few more seasons left until he’s into his 30’s; when the time comes it’s going to be a tough job to replace him.
-
Having Ramsdale as an option, even if unused, made us look so much better in possession today, we were a lot more composed, patient, knowing we had him as an extra ‘footballer’ if needed
-
Lovely delivery for the first
-
Much better tonight, seems more confident, making better decisions and making them quicker. Hopefully the assist allows him to really kick on
-
Was strange but it hardly backfired, he looked solid there for the time he spent there.
-
6 points from the remaining games sees us top 8 I think.
-
I thought he showed signs of promise too, and agree he needs a run in the team. I am concerned at how fragile he appears to be though, we have already lost him due to injury and even last night at the end he seems to be hobbling round and a nothing challenge.
-
That’s honestly abysmal I’d be fuming about that at a Sunday league game never mind Champions League. Give Ramsdale a run ffs
-
I think Botman has been mainly good when played, not to the same standard pre injuries, and some poor moments, but the criticism has been exaggerated imo. I still think on ability alone he is first choice with Thiaw, so I’d be keeping him, as I am confident he can reach those levels again consistently.
-
I have faith he can turn it around, but I definitely think our 433 has run its course. Once Wissa is back I’d be going with a 4231, Bruno and Tonali as a 2, Wolt as the 10, Wissa up top. Then either 2 wingers, or a narrow 3 with Ramsey +1 either side of Wolt, and Hall/Tino giving width.

Criminal to keep Burn on as long as he did, and it cost us
-
Still find it staggering how at the half way point of that season he came in we were on 11 points from 19 games, yet finished the season in 11th on 49 points, only 7 points off a European spot
-
Just as a follow up to the recent comments re his lateness and lack of effort, he stands out like a sore thumb in this video https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdwfmpGW/
-
You’d hope that our actions towards him during his ban have earned a little additional loyalty that might persuade him to stay for an extra season or so
-
Showing off his long range passing tonight, spraying some lovely balls about the place.
-
No reason to not play Thiaw
-
He’s just too obvious, he cuts inside more often than not and when he does, it’s slow and he takes a heavy touch and loses the ball. I do think he thinks he is better than he is, which doesn’t help. He needs a kick up the arse and should concentrate on the basics for now.
-
Yeah don’t get me wrong the season as a whole he has questions to answer, but the defeat today for me is on the players
-
Formation is the same as normal. Tonali RB, Ramsey joelinton Bruno midfield, Barnes osula elanga front 3. it was poor from the start too which was our normal line up
-
On the players this one today for me. All been awful, so slow and disjointed, full of individual mistakes that they shouldn’t be making
-
Gordon gave it away (again) then looked at Bowen and couldn’t be arsed tracking him. Needs to wake up asap
