  1. Miggy in particular doesn’t like passing to him

    Miguel Almirón

We definitely need to upgrade him, to a top class RW. he’s had almost identical chances today and against Everton and wasted both. Not good enough.
  3. I think there is so many overreactions every time we lose a game. Nothing is done and dusted yet and there will be plenty of unexpected results throughout the remainder of the season. I’m super calm about the situation, not going to make any assumptions or conclusions until the new year. Things will be a lot clearer then in terms of injuries, are we in Europe etc
  4. When do they usually announce tv picks? Draw was over 48 hours ago so would have expected it to be announced by now

    St James' Park

If I lived locally I’d happily pay £1k for a season ticket, I get it’s a lot of money but it works out about £52 per PL match. people will pay anywhere from £40-£100+ for a music gig which is roughly the same amount of time so I don’t think it’s too scandalous. Edit: we will also be watching much better football and much better players.
  6. I hope he never leaves

    Tino Livramento

He’s actually improved us I think, we have a lot more balance in our attacks now as opposed to always going down the right before. I’ve noticed he inverts a lot too into the gaps

    Alexander Isak

The only reason we didn’t win the game is because of a refereeing fuck up.

Hall will be class for us. No doubt about it. With these 2 what a pair of highly technical full backs we will have

    Jamaal Lascelles

Buzzing he scored, probably his worst performance during this run of games though. Not a massive criticism as he has been playing really well, hopefully it was just an off day for him

    Anthony Gordon

Great assist, great goal. What a player
  12. I did wonder about him the other day when I saw he had signed with CAA base

    St James' Park

It could start after this season ends?

    St James' Park

The Rugby League Magic Weekend has been moved to Elland Road next year, August 17th and 18th, due to St James Park non-availability - obviously it’s during the football season but that’s the same for Leeds United, and the Grand final is usually in October at Old Trafford so I don’t believe it’s a case of being unavailable just because it’s during the season - it’s also been there before during the season. could we be expecting some news on expansion soon?
  15. What’s a terf? And don’t say grass
  16. Wish this international break ran until the new year, we are decimated
  17. I’m actually shocked he hasn’t been sent off for that. how VAR can look at that and take no action just shows how incompetent the officials are
  18. He really needs to cut out this smacking peoples on the back of the head stuff. Only a matter of time till he gets sent off

    Lewis Hall

Not eligible to play vs Chelsea in the cup…we have Fulham at home and Luton away either side of that game so no reason why he can’t play those league games and use burn in the cup

    Tino Livramento

    Unreal run and composure
  21. Yeah agreed, I imagine if we had a 6, Bruno and tonali would be the first choice 8’s. Willock and Joelinton back up, not bad. In fact, if we signed a 6 and Hall became first choice, we are only an elite RW away from having a very good first and second choice 11: Pope; Trippier Schar Botman Hall; new 6 Bruno Tonali; New RW Isak Gordon Pope; Livramento Lascelles Burn Targett; Longstaff Willock Joelinton; Almiron Wilson Barnes.
  22. Can’t help but feel we will sign a 6 next summer - we’ve got Tripper and after him Livramento at right back, and sooner rather than later Hall will be first choice LB. So we will need another player to sit as we will lose that from the LB spot.
  23. Brighton drawing at home to Fulham, these results will happen all season. Far too early to panic
  24. It’s worth noting that we have more points now than we did at the same stage last season. I agree there is more competition this year but that also means the points will be more spread out, so I can’t see us needing more than 70 for a top 5 finish. In terms of signings, it’s quite clear that we overachieved last year/got CL ahead of schedule, and the club are not deviating from their original strategy. we are only 10 games into the season, just calm down and enjoy the ride.
