    Tosin Adarabioyo

Talks can officially start a month before his contract ends, so I suppose technically he could be as "close" as a month away from agreeing a deal with us.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Free transfers potentially? I know wages and signing on fees would have to be paid but I'd hope if we want either/both of Kelly/Adarabioyo then we'd get it done ASAP.
  3. Anyone else watched that Southgate video yet? Mentions that Anderson is joining up with the England youth set up, or that's what I took from it anyway. Seems to line up with him dropping out of the Scotland squad a while back. Seems like he's one that has been watched recently.
  4. Would've been hilarious if this was started last season. All the big clubs expecting the "bottom" club to be Burnley or Sheffield Utd and it ends up being far far worse and it's Luton instead.
  5. Aren't they just assuming that with these changes comes the "luxury tax" rule whereby you just pay a fine for breaking rules rather than points deductions. I don't think that's ever been confirmed anywhere so far. Obviously if true that does benefit us but then you have to ask why Manchester City/Utd and Villa voted against it if so.
  6. Interesting that Chelsea abstained and also interesting Villa voted against it. Obviously understandable why both Manchester clubs did though. Must seemingly be positive for ourselves else you'd hope we'd have voted against it. Suprising that it will be ratified this summer, I thought it would take longer than that.

    Kieran Trippier

With Lascelles being out alot of next season, Wilson potentially going, Ritchie maybe off, Dubravka almost certainly is, even Dummett might be gone, if Trippier also leaves that's a big chunk of our leadership team and senior players out of the picture. He needs to stay, he's still at PL level and hopefully this extra rest and rehab will set him up well for next season. The only reason I'd want him gone is if there's substantial bid that is impossible to turn down(£15M+).
  8. For what it's worth, the exact same thing that happens to energy companies and water companies, they all have a regulator (even though they do a shit job of it). So there's no reason football should be any different seeing as the PL can't seem to manage it by itself.
  9. Well that's exactly why the general football public want this regulator in place ASAP. Whatever Masters and the other untrustworthy members of the PL want, it's probably best to do the opposite . The sooner the regulator is in place the better it will be for fans and the worse it will be for Masters, and I'm happy to see that happen.
  10. Murillo has done OK this season, considering it's his first one in England. He's quite erratic and does lack the extra height we need at CB. Ideally we need to find a young Lascelles from somewhere.
  11. We'll win but it won't be as straightforward as we'd all like. They're better defensively than Sheff Utd but they score very few so you'd hope Isak, Gordon and Barnes should have the goals to win this.
  12. Oooof. One of them against us would've been nice Chris.
  13. Considering Man Utd and Chelsea's next fixtures, beating Burnley is absolutely essential. Our Brighton game is looking less worrying as the weeks go by, it would all seem to hinge on the game at Old Trafford.
  14. As good as Murillo has been this season I'd still rather have Adarabioyo on a free on a higher wage rather than spend any money on him. He's quite short for a CB as well, we need some height in our back line if we're going to be having Tino, Trippier and Hall in there at any given time.
  15. This would be a perfect time for a Havertz OG. That ratty motherfucker needs humbling.
  16. Probably 10 minutes to go after this penalty. More than enough time for Spurs to get a draw.

    Sean Longstaff

I don't disagree entirely with you, ideally he's a squad player and he is needed for our homegrown quota BUT I'm fairly sure he will be starting at least the first 2/3 games of next season. Tonali won't be back from his ban, Big Joe and Little Joe may not quite be up to speed and Bruno may well have been sold. All ifs and buts ofcourse. I've mentally prepared myself to see him start more often than not next season.
  18. Spurs play football like a hyperactive 9yr old. Alot of sprinting around with no real aim and screaming when things don't go their way.
  19. After today they have 5 games left. Burnley and Sheff Utd are two of them. The other 3 are difficult but we'd have to win all four remaining games and they'd need to pick up only 4 points from their last 5. As poor as they've been, I'm certain they'll beat Burnley and Sheff Utd and I'm not certain we can win all 4 of ours anyway.
  20. I'll be surprised if Spurs win, Arsenal will have too much for them I think. We won't be catching them now so if they win and make Arteta cry I'm fine with that.
  21. That third kit needs more green, perhaps the whole side panel. Either way that's still my favourite of the three. I do like the idea behind the away kit but it's been done before too recently to get me all that excited.

    Anthony Gordon

I'm hoping that they'll spread it around more. Tripper, Tonali, Gordon and Bruno all capable of the current squad in taking set pieces. Others may come in the summer as well who can do so. We just need to switch it up more often rather than Trippier taking 99% of them.
  23. Think that might depend if they start sliding down the table in the next season or two. They finish out of the top 8 this season and then next season I'm sure he'd consider moving on and the club will have to sell before he goes for free.
  24. At least when he's here we're in control of his game time and training schedule etc. It's always a risk sending players out on loan to the Championship in the summer, because obviously you'd want him to go to a club challenging at the top of the table and playing a similar style to us and that's hard to predict at the best of times. If Leeds don't go up, that would be a decent loan for him next year. But if he does go and potentially then Miley would as well then we'd definitely need another CM in.
