  1. strumpet and plonky (allegedly) neither has Amanda’s class and decorum
  2. I only know of pne person out of about 15 that wasn't successful in the ballot - makes me think that purchase history must be taken into account - these are all former season ticket holders / regular past attendees.
  3. I would just use a debit card. It won't be enforced anyway I reckon. It wasn't at Wembley.
  4. Have more confidence now that Brian Blessed has walked away that there isn't the same self interest and conflict of interest. There is still a stench of Tory TF around the board though. It is also telling that the response from NUSC was more detailed and eloquent that NUST imho.
  5. Canny lad is Bobby tbf just cannot do the stairs up to level 7 at his age any longer

saw a few other the years at our European aways years ago (it’s definitely not exclusively an nufc “thing”). I wouldn’t do it myself and question why some of our own seem to appear in tops at their games but it’s not something I’d give more than a passing thought to. Seems to boil their piss mind!
  7. on the accounts I set up it was the title just fyi

I think tbf we all have our share of arseholes. The Sunderland fans were great after MH17 but like every club especially aways games that are close by with cheap and plentiful tickets will attract knackas and charvas. I have seen Newcastle fans attacked by fellow fans for applauding a celtic goal that was on in the bar before one of our European games, sing questionable stuff of our own and act like twats. Football isn't a sunday school picnic and I wouldn't sing choose to revel in someone's death but equally have probably sang songs that other people would find offensive. Best to ignore the idiots and starve them of the attention they crave.

    Football pet hates

Which Utd? West Ham, Sheffield, Oxford, Cambridge, Rotherham, Leeds. Sutton United would be a good one for the London folk as Wist 'Am are Essex's team now Spurs are shite
  11. understsbd the point about your stepdad but xenophobia is hating people of other nationalities. A nationality generally isn’t synonymous with race. You could technically be one and not the other (you hate Germans but don’t see Asian people as superior to Caucasians) frequently the 2 are codependent as both are based on applying (negative) characteristics to large groups of people you haven’t all met. The Sun and Mail have a lot to answer for in putting a faux enemy in the sights of many disenfranchised groups in left behind areas in the UK. A race to the bottom and pitting poor against poor.
  12. He’s been on blockbusters..
  13. This. I mean I’ve been stood it sat in some part of the gallowgate since 1985 so wouldn’t even want to consider a move to another part of the ground let alone a new ground. Although I concede we need a bigger ground to accommodate younger fans. Do we still have the highest average age of season ticket holder ?
  14. Might need a new thread title ".'sort of / might be famous one day' Newcastle Fans"
  15. apart from any prospective transfer targets… My little part of fawdon looks lush on days like today
  16. It’s one tradition the PL seem to have stuck with and as there’s no trains running on Boxing Day it helps massively with away travel. Used to be one of my favourite away days although our recent record (like most things until this season) isn’t great

    Match Atmosphere

Nearly as good as my mate James Lowery who used to join the Happy Cats (band fronted by Marty Craggs ex Lindisfarne) on stage to do it! Some of you might know James was at every game home and away until Ashley showed his true colours
  19. like a footballers equivalent of “im foaming, can’t say why too many snakes on here. Inbox me hun xx” ?
  20. People will know who it is - and it isn't done for financial gain - in some ways there has been an element of altruism in helping fellow fans out. Even under Ashley popular away games were hard to source tickets for if you didn't have loyalty points.
  21. Loyalty points / access to away tickets is the reason.
  22. I think this is probably aimed not at people who share their ticket with a family member but the very minor number of fans who have 15 plus season tickets in their name. I know of at least 2 and one who has something like 40...
  23. Mrs Cassidy (my mates nana) is a legend though - remember when she interrupted the post match press conference after the Bowyer - Dyer scrap
