A lot if that is reactionary social media shite that’s indicative of all modern football fans and basically modern life. Hyperbole aal ower the shop
-
he bossed Edgar Davids very early on on his nufc career and then never really kicked on
-
He didnt actually say it directly iirc - a journalist put the words to him.
-
that was my thought but my lads football coach is a copper and he thinks no way the Saturday named will go ahead with crowds present. It’s sad that the idiots have won but in these days public safety comes first.

Worst combover since Charlton, R. Formerly of this parish.

You’re obviously more clued up in this than mine but as the owner / director of a Serbian company I’ve been to Belgrade (and spent a lot of time in the surrounding region as well as other interesting places like Belarus) and there’s actually less edge in a night out than in any uk city I’ve been in. However the “bad lads” are more organised and this may help prevent some of the lower level anti social behaviour and drunken / drug fuelled violence we see here. The police also take no shit. Having been in a central Belgrade police station to get my white card and having seen first hand thec”interrogation rooms” it’s no B&B at market street .

I like scousers. I’ve never warned to Everton but I had a grudging respect for Liverpool until recently. Their core supports like Spirit of Shankley are genuinely good people it’s the tourist / entitled hangers on that piss me off. I even liked Klopp at first …

I assume you’re going to agree with me but we’re very Liverpudlians imho, Glaswegians too imho - working class cities with heritage steeped in river / port based industry. we haven’t quite the Irish influence that the other 2 have or the organised anti establishment traits but we have more that unites than divides .

I’m surprised it’s not much higher. I’d hazard a guess if you confined it to match going supporters it’d be far higher. I would like to see England win a tournament but just don’t have the same connection I do with Newcastle and as said above I’d say 99% of people I know would take a league cup win over the euros / WC.

Looks too much like Matty Longstaff anarl marra
-
Probably just me but I’d rather they stuck with Liverpool tbh
-
He obviously should be but it’s Southgate - he’ll be looking to accommodate another CDM instead of using the best acting talent England have had in years (speaking generally here not just about AG).

be some class trips and it’s a competition we could win. Vilnius is a lovely place fwiw

More like before the Amex was built by bloom it wasnt really a football town.
-
deserved more likes. Tough crowd

But they were talking to the wrong man like journalists asking Eddie about SA just after the takeover. but you’re right they should have held the club more to account a lot of them were complicit in our demise.
-
Came here to say this in hindsight it may have been the early stages.. He wasn’t the right man for the job but he was a larger than life character and whilst massively unprofessional his rant against some of the cretins masquerading and warning good money as journalists was actually quite refreshing. RIP Joe.

I used to have a job getting assisting off shore operators making gambling payouts in NOK that were using other merchant codes. Norway has a big unregulated black market.
-
I work in gambling too. You should look up the Epic Foundation - company run by former addicts. People in elite sport, the forces, high pressured city jobs have a larger predisposition to harmful gambling behaviours. It’s thought this is in part due to replicating the highs they face in their professions away from work.

Aye that’s definitely been an incentive to get there earlier.

We used to on televised games leave either Rosies or the 3 Bulls when Local Hero started!

Is this our version of them RTG “cheese slice”? each to their own but the mind boggles that people can’t go 90 minutes without scranning. There’s always been pies since I started go mid 80s but I’ve honestly never felt the need to eat at the match other than 1 or 2 occasions where I’ve overdone it on the drink. Were definitely moving towards an NFL family style day out. “you’re going home in a fkin ambulance (because you’ve got type 2 diabetes)…”
-
you can say that again!

it’s Dave the rave here’s kind of celebrity on wearside - but like the Geordie Dancer - the “joke” in todays allegedly more enlightened times seems cruel and mocking someone less fortunate.
