Its fine if you are new to supporting the club. Welcome! He is frustrating. Always injured. Someone who was basically the only reason I watched the matches a few seasons ago. He's extremely talented and on his day he is unmarkable. One of the only players who has skinned Kyle Walker. His commitment has been questionable at times. He seems to want to dribble a player over and over again. Doesnt always do a good job getting back and helping out the fullback behind him. Mind you its Dan Burn who he has to cover most times and he's a LB that does require quite a bit of help and offers very little going forward. With all that being said...hes made some strides in the past season. He has really worked hard in his limited appearances at the end of the season. I dont think we can replace him for the price we are likely to get for him. He is very well suited to CL football. Personally I'd be pretty gutted if we sold him. I'd like us to give him a chance this season to show his adjustments in mentality, work rate and hopefully he can stay injury free.

Meh, I dont mind him signing for Chelsea only to be loaned out or sit on the bench for the next 3 seasons. If thats what he is willing to settle for, he doesnt have the right mentality for us anyway. Very unlikely he gets on the pitch for Chelsea considering they have basically 2 full squads of expensive players who expect to play. Saudi league, Arsenal and now Man U have done them some favors with FFP Makes 0 sense for them to spend on a youngster who wont play for them at all.

Dont know how I feel about spending a year of Ashby's development as a bench player. Prefer him on a loan with option to recall. He needs to be playing every week. Can Krafth play CB? Cant remember if I've seen him at CB for us.
