The most astonishing thing to me is I never realised before now the amount of people who make up scenarios in their heads then decide they must be correct. Five minutes later they are being presented on the forum as obvious! I promise you, the world does not revolve or rely on your fantasies. Odds are you are utterly wrong in your conclusions. -
First match against Southampton is 3 weeks tomorrow.

How dare you come in here with your reasonable suggestions!

Maybe a chance the new ground might be built on land the Reubens already own? That might shift the balance of payments into more favourable territory?

Ah, go and have a cold shower. You are always getting over emotional about these things!

I've seen it all now.

Another point to consider, which I have never seen anyone doing, is do any of us know the rules on home grown players etc as demanded by the Euro competitions? Personally I want to be back in Europe next year and I fully expect to be, be a shame if we were refused entry on some arbitrary rule created by some stuffed shirts with a toffee apples up their arse. Yes foreign players look exotic and exciting, but England have their fair share of great players - the only thing that hinders them playing with that ability is currently called Gareth Southgate!

Anyone other, (reputable), than Edwards said this could be a goer? If it happens for around 20-24m I think it could be a good deal.

Olise is everything we kept hoping Saint-Maximin would be.

I think you might be onto something there.

Reminds me off the Botman deal all over. Linked for a while then at the last second Milan appeared and were the favourites. Truth is no-one knows yet.

Mother of God, I hate this place sometimes. Genuinely can't tell if some people are taking the pisss or serious...

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

That was the best performance I've seen from Manure this season, guess they were collectively delighted to know they'd be getting a new manager. Perhaps it works in our favour, providing we hold onto our star players and add some more quality - I could really see us getting top 4 again next season. -
Dan Ashworth (no longer working for Manchester United)

Reading the last couple of pages reminded me of his role in the sacked England women’s manager, Mark Sampson. There's a good story on The Athletic that goes into more detail than the Times one. Also from 6th November 23 - Dan Ashworth interview: I am not the man for Man Utd – Newcastle are aiming for the 'Big Six' Seems being part slug is inherent in his DNA. -

Not to me. That would mean we're out of pockey £5-6 million, the money we paid Brighton, his first x amount of months work and his continuing contactual obligation. We were stitched! Go to arbitration! -
You have no idea what is wage is other than paper talk, whatever the stats say I don't believe for a fraction of a second he is on anything approaching a hundred grand a week. He was an initial loan which ended up costing circa 15m. Who the fuck would pay a 100k a week for that?

Giorgi Mamardashvili (now playing for Valencia, on loan from Liverpool)

I want him just for the fact he looked like he was going to strangle Vinius Jr., that was worth any admission fee to a game by itself! Plus if he can shotstop like Pope AND actually kick a ball that's a plus. -

That is the stuff the news should be full of every day instead of all the negative shit they feed us every day. Top bloke! -
I could have listened to that for another hour no problem, excellent stuff.

I don't think Chelsea, or Man U for that matter, will find their visit to Brighton is a nailed on 3 points. Ask Villa how they got on just yesterday.
