I wonder how much they feel like shelling out huge money on Isak seeing what Ekitike does for them already. Ekitike could be a regular lone striker for them this season and bag a high amount of goals. You don't need to pay well over £100m more for depth.

I think clubs are aware that we can't spend as much as the top clubs. The problem is that we went for some of the top targets in the market, and they chose teams with more spending power. Now we are late for the lower targets, and teams don't have much time to replace them anymore.

Remember when they said Isak will go to Arsenal for £70m? Not so long ago even.

I wouldn't have any reaction at all if it wasn't for the fact that Man City are now trying to sign Donnarumma. It's like when Chelsea sign 10+ players and then more than half of them doesn't even play, while someone else would have played them every week. Just because they can. That's what the imbalance does.

Why are they trying to sign Donnarumma after spending 30m on Trafford? Assuming it's true. Is Donnarumma going to sit on the bench? Or did they want to pay 30m to have a backup in Trafford? I'm waiting to hear the possible explanations that you can think of. I won't hold my breath for it. It doesn't seem like you have an alternative explanation.
