I don't know why they include us in this? Based on rumours? We haven't even traded with any of them yet, and the rumours were not something silly like buying a youngster valued at £1m for £20m. Just throwing us in the mix because of the media myth about us being in some kind of fictional crisis.

Denmark finished above Slovenia due to head-to-head from their qualifying games. They were both at 6 yellows for the tournament. Then they look at qualifiers. Both in the same qualifying group, scoring same amount of points and win/draw/loss. Slovenia had the better goal difference, but since they just happened to be in the same qualifying group, then head-to-head comes first. Those games finishing 1-1 and 2-1 Denmark means that Denmark gets the second place, and after all that, facing Germany is their reward.

Might aswell put doable clauses in every contract. That way we won't have to sell our players on the cheap. I for sure won't be getting any sleep until they finally put a £100m buyout clause in Isaks contract to end my fears of him getting sold for £50m.

I'd say that Isak is a better player. But Bruno has been more important to our success, and for a lesser price even. Our winrate drops significantly without him, even more than when Isak has been missing.

37 mill is going to have an impact on PSR in any case. Either in this window, and/or the next ones. For example, even if we can still spend a lot in different positions, those 37 mill could be spent on a different striker than DCL. Maybe even a cheaper ones, which would allow us to spend more in future windows. We are allways going to be spending close to the limit.

It's quite puzzling. Most of us agreed that we need to get rid of a couple of injury prone players last season, especially since they can't keep up with our style. Can't really figure out why they would want to look almost exclusively at injury prone players in this window. All I can think of is hoping that the injury problems could drag the price down, and that we then get lucky with them not being injured too much.

Being restricted by FFP is tough, but I'm seeing some irony in going for some really injury prone players after the season we've just had. Don't get me wrong, they might just be good signings. It's just a bit ironic. I'm guessing it's the price to performance ratio we're thinking about here, especially with those who are probably not going to be regular starters anyways (Kelly and DCL). Saying all this assuming that the DCL, Neto and/or the Olise rumours are true.

God, the transfer rumours right after takeover was embarassing.. I remember all sorts of overpriced over the top players like Ronaldo, Neymar, Suarez, Hazard, Coutinho, Lukaku and so on. The media badly wanted us to be a dumping ground for such players (plus some rejects), and fail miserably while overspending on these types. Just proves how silly transfer rumours can be, knowing what we actually spent money on in hindsight.

And then he's onside because a fraction of his shoe is on, because a fraction of the defenders shoe lines up with it.
