Imagine how many goals Isak would score against Copenhagen..

Dortmund were so shit that they made the final.

You played Copenhagen and Galatasaray on top of that, while we played PSG, Dortmund and Milan.. Funny how the level of the opponent only matters when you want it to.

Isak scored 17 goals in a season in La Liga (so league only) at Højlunds current age, so he better hurry.

    Kieran Trippier

I think staying fit will be a big question mark here, though. Seems to be getting more injuries in his older years.
  6. It definelty looked like our gameplan. The only frustration for me was that there were a couple of times where we went from being in attack to playing the ball all the way back, only to give it away. In the first half we almost conceded that way (Schärs misplaced pass). It happened again in the second half when we were attacking, then played it back to Dubravka who gave it away. That time we had moved our team back and it wasn't that dangerous.

    Lewis Hall

I was thinking the same. He's slowly replacing the creativity that we've been missing after Trippiers fall.
  8. There were some discussions about the quality of our team earlier in the season, and I think the latest few games has shown that we do have a pretty good team. Yesterday the difference in quality was obvious to me. In bad times it's easy to forget how good some of these players are when it clicks. It was all about making Tonali and Hall work in the side, and now our team is stronger than last season. We don't have the best depth, but yesterday we had Livramento, Willock and Barnes coming off the bench. Not too bad. Not taking anything away from Howe at all. After all some of these players have gotten much better after signing for us. It's also not just about having quality in the team, you've got to make it work somehow. Easier said than done. Right now it works very well. Even the defending looks rock solid, a pleasant change from last season (although that was partly due to injuries ofcourse).
  9. Atleast getting Watkins looks pretty good.
  10. Benching Hall probably wasn't the smartest..

I just hope we stick to the plan that we had, whatever that was. If anything is to be learned from the past, we should know that we shouldn't get too carried away by a purple patch. That being said, january is very difficult (especially with our PSR issues), so I don't have high hopes for this window anyways.
  12. Leicester should've scored like 3 goals that game..
  13. My thoughts is that when a team has punched way above their weight for the entire first half, there's a very good chance they won't slow down. So much momentum nd confidence. They can even afford a down period, just like the other current top 4 teams (in terms of getting into CL).
  14. Can't wait to lose out on CL because Nottingham just decided to be the new Man City.
  15. Judging by froggys quores here, it's safe to say that Amorim gets an early sacking and that Ugarte turns out to be a flop.
  16. And then he goes on to complain about people having anything critical to say about him. Everyone else is the problem. Classic victim role.
  17. It really seemed like it was aimed at me as I was the one who used the word "creds" like 2 posts before, but I haven't read all the pages from yesterday and today. Maybe it wasn't, my bad if so.
  18. Allways puzzled by the expectation some have that if you criticize Howe it means you're anti Howe and if you ever give him creds it's all fake. The idea of someone just trying to be honest and somewhat balanced instead of polarizing and having clear agendas is apparently unheard of. It's interesting because if I'd instead somehow be critizicing Howe for something right now, you'd ridicule that aswell. I'm giving Howe credits now because he made things work. Things didn't work earlier in the season. I judge based on recent performances. It's not that deep.
  19. Bruno has said multiple times that he prefers being an 8, but he can play as a 6 when the manager needs him to. Pretty sure he enjoys being able to create goals for us.
  20. Isn't smiling in this picture, clearly doesn't want to be here!
  21. Was having some doubts about big Joe in midfield, but he is also looking good in his current role atm.
  22. We have a very exciting team atm with Hall and Tonali in the side, and Bruno being played further forward. Really glad it has worked out so far, and creds to Howe for making it work in the end. Can't wait to see more.
