  1. It’s because he thinks little tidbits he gets to be privy to in press conferences are the most fascinating things in the world and everybody must know about them because in his mind he’s best mates with Eddie and everyone is jealous of him. In reality Eddie is forced to speak to him and the rest of the media as part of his job. They spend a good 10 mins at the start of every episode of Pod on The Tyne just talking about the “hilarious” shenanigans of the press room, where one time Eddie addressed them by name, and it was the most special moment their life. Then George just mumbles something about hating his job, calls Chris Waugh, “Waffles” (who hurriedly stutters that FFP is an issue), and the other guy says “jolly good stuff”.

  3. A further ban is only going to be detrimental to his career development and his own mental health. It’s just pointless, 10 months is enough.
  4. I’d rather be getting attention for crying on Netflix than playing in the Champions Leygue marra.
  5. Of course there’s been a clash, he’s fucked wuh. Comes in, says he’s a project builder, says he’s gonna’ be here 5-6 years at least, couldn’t pass up the opportunity and all that bollocks, then he fucks off (behind our back no less because still no official approach has been made) to his tax dodging mates’ batshit crazy “club of the North”.
  6. 99% of his hype is X bots posting ?#ColdPalmer
  7. I wouldn’t say this season just simply because I don’t think there’s a path for him with Barnes and Willock coming back. He’s only 16 so not sure if physically ready for men’s football. He shows some sparkles and works very hard front and back, could prob add more goals and assists. He’s fine where he is right now. He’s in a similar boat to Diallo. Both rapid, tricky wingers, Diallo perhaps slightly ahead. Put it this way I’d rather they stayed with us and came off the bench than went out on loan.
  8. Lots of bright spots in u18’s game tonight. We had to work hard for our share of the ball and a lot of hard pressing and feisty tackling saw us on top for chunks of the second half. We showed some really neat touches with quick and clever passing and moving to work space and open City up. Really thrilling to watch at times. Like I said we worked bloody hard to come back from two down but ultimately though a combination of City quality and us being a little gung ho let the point slip away. Similar to first team really where we look just as capable of battering a team as we do of conceding a boat load. Stand outs were Sanusi who twisted and turned all game out wide to cause problems. Alfie Harrison on his second start. Grew into the game with the rest of the team and took his goal beautifully with a left foot finish into the bottom right. Began to show exactly what he did for City. Going past men at will, some nice touches and smart passing. Hit the post after a mazy run. Prob not quite ready for first team yet (cameos perhaps) but not far off with shows like this. Shahar played in a midfield role similar to what Trippier does for first team, but he went off at half time, Munda came on and looked assured as usual.
  9. Your stadium has a waterfall in it. Theatre of plumbers more like.
  10. Are we allowed to appoint a new dof whilst he still on gardening leave? Effectively making him redundant?
  11. They disavowed him after he left them to retire, two months after signing him. He’s in their bad books now. I’m hoping that Bruce is on the phone to them as we speak.
  12. Problem is they want instant gratification because they believe they’re in a false position. Some of them think it’s been 5 mins since they were in the Prem and think being out of it is a blip, but it’s not, it’s the norm for them and has been for seven (soon to be eight) long years. They’re part of the EFL furniture. The fans are the biggest barrier to success over there.
  13. So we employed him, told him what he’d be doing, he said “yes” and then we’ve just turned around and said “actually you’re not doing that”. I think it’s far more likely we’ve found him underwhelming/he’s not bringing what we thought he would or that we’ve realised over time that he’s not needed because his role is already adequately covered by Steve Nickson.
  14. Cant trust ne1 round ere, sneks everywhere hun, just me and Eddie from now on. Don’t wanna’ talk bout it on dis.
  15. Meanwhile, we’ve beat you three times on the spin with an aggregate goal diff of 6-0.
  16. Burn Burn Burn Burn Burn Burn Burn Burn Burn Burn Burn k guys so we should go with Burn in goal. A flat back 8 of Burn and two holding Burn’s. Ritchie off the bench to assert dominance if we’re not 4-0 up before 76 minutes.

  18. Wow they really don’t do well against managers they’ve just recently hounded out. Mind you that’s a lot of managers. Apparently Ian blanked one of theirs today and refused to shake his hand. They want him “clotheslined” according to our learned friends on RTG.
  19. Hate flags, gan radge. Forget bringing Bournemouth to Ritchie. Ritchie brought it to Bournemouth.
