Yeah just sounds like standard programme stuff, not really much substance in it. I’m sure he meant what he said but it’s not really pertinent to any potential transfer.

I was thinking and hoping so but you never know with these things. I saw an interview with him and he seems like a “what will be will be guy”. Saying he used to chase the things he wanted e.g. he wanted to be at a certain place in his career by a certain time, now he just lets things happen the way they were meant to and doesn’t force anything.

We can’t be keeping a player as good as Tino back for another season because of a 34 year old Trippier who was questionable on more than a few occasions last season. Think we need to sign a new RB. Not much faith has been placed in Ashby so far so don’t know if they feel he can step up. Prob would be a good idea to sign a young replacement with room to grow ala Osula.
