Tosin may well go elsewhere but no player is using the Conference League as the decider.
-
We’d be pissing ourselves if Villa or Man Yow or Spurs went for him. But it’s us so it’s actually a really cunning move if you think about it.
-
I don’t like the fact that Romano keeps tweeting about this. It suggests Tosin’s agent is prompting him to do so.
-
It’s only really the suggestion that he disclosed details of the Newcastle/Brighton negotiations that he’s on the hook for here. Nothing wrong with talking to prospective employers while employed elsewhere (how do you think we sounded him out in the first place?). It’s Berrada who could be in hot water, as he was operating on behalf of Man Yow while on gardening leave at City.
-
He’s known to monitor NUFC social media…not saying it’s likely, but perhaps I’ve lit a fire under him?
-
No, what I mean is he’s not good enough technically. Not a good enough passer, - either short or long range - can’t beat a man, can’t take set pieces, can’t shoot with any conviction and has shown an almost complete inability to impose himself upon the midfields of the best teams. Good player, not great, and will be more Nunes than Rodri at City.
-
I really think he’d fail miserably at Arsenal or City. Just not quite technically good enough (and chronically immobile). A Premier League team with Champions League ambitions (i.e. us) or somewhere like PSG is his level.
-
Interesting that our least injury-prone player appears to stay completely clear of our physio/strength&conditioning team.
-
Why would we be improving? We’re literally in the midst of a completely unprecedented injury crisis.
-
Agreed, just like all those idiots who think Krafth should start ahead of Trippier. (they don’t exist)
-
Joint first with Haaland in terms of goals per minutes played. Chris Wood is second mind
-
Absurd for Dubravka to be back tracking there.
-
If something entirely different had happened, you’d have an entirely different opinion. I am very clever
-
“obviously it’s his low-quality play out of possession that explains his absence” is something people have entirely invented, isn’t it?
-
Clear dig at Miley there. Not good.
-
Spinning Krafth signing an extension as an “upgrade” is good going.

You said she had engaged in hate speech. This is false. What she said is legally protected speech. There’s no getting around that. You said she had referred to “all transgender people as groomers”. This is false. You made that up because you’re not confident of the ground you’re arguing on. Premier League clubs, and the Premier League itself, should not be in the business of extrajudicial policing of online speech. They should not be in the business of snooping on fans in real life because they suspect they’ve said problematic things on the internet. You no doubt hold lots of perfectly legal opinions that lots of other people find sincerely offensive. You shouldn’t be banned from St James’ Park as a result.
-
At no point did she express “all trans people are predatory paedophiles”. It’s simply inaccurate to claim that is “precisely what she expressed”. You invented that to bolster your argument. These discussions are basically pointless when one side keeps engaging in rhetorical sleights of hand like that.
-
But that’s not the equivalent of what she actually expressed. Let’s stay in the realm of reality. Which of her tweets do you think fall foul of hate speech legislation?
-
Which of those tweets do you believe fall foul of hate speech legislation in this country?
-
Hate speech is a legal term in this country, and I don’t think the things she tweeted come close to meeting that definition. While I empathise with the instinct to say “who cares, she’s prejudiced in my opinion”, I don’t really want NUFC or the Premier League to engage in extrajudicial policing of what political opinions can and can’t be publicly expressed by fans. Or if they are going to engage in extrajudicial policing of speech, I’d like them to be extremely transparent about it in terms of what can and can’t be expressed. I’m sure I hold a number of views that are contrary to the values of our owners.

His dad has spent tens of thousands of pounds on private coaching sessions for him and his brother throughout their childhood. Probably goes some way to explaining how he managed to come through our academy unscathed.
-
I’d be astonished if anyone in Europe offered him more than what we will. He’ll either stay or go to the desert.
-
I lol’d just reading the URL.

I can’t think of a way to explain to you, without being incredibly patronising, why being 27 is very different to being 30 in the context of football transfers.
