  1. I'll take that, a Tonali first timer where he hasn't even looked (got to come off eventually, might aswell be against these), or a Burn agricultural just getting it lumped. Ideally all 3 within the first 20 minutes.
  2. Aye, plus if Spurs do their "that's how we play, mate" thing we'll always have a hoof over the top to 3 pacers aswell
  3. We'll batter these. Andy Madley is the ref tomorrow, as well as our own great form we're on some run of generally shite refs, last three have been Atwell (Ipswich), Taylor (Villa), Hooper (Man U). Maddison red card tomorrow please!
  4. His nightmare? Are they lining up a "Miggy: My Toon Hell" story or what?

They reckon there's going to be a rush on tickets after winning last night, and it'll be close to full at the weekend - "it was freezing last night". Guessing they've not checked the weather forecast for the weekend, can stamp that one on the bingo card already
  6. Can you guys not just automatically trigger his extra year option or does he need to also agree to it? I feel like that's a stupid question as you'd have already done it by now, but you never know with Man U these days
  7. Usual media bullshit disclaimers apply...Daily Mirror reckons Forest, Everton, Leicester, Chelsea (lol) are closest to the line
  8. "2 months since our last home win.." FFS, feel like this is a movie we've all seen before!
  9. On the presser bit, I find it bizarre how every club/country has a press officer sitting at the end of the table for every single one of these yet managers and coaches still find themselves being asked and answering random non-football-related questions or things they won't necessarily know the answer to. See Taylor, L asking Howe about the clinical definition of gambling addiction or whatever it was, Carsley and the national anthem, Southgate and goodness knows what, that time Howe was asked about executions, howay man.
  10. "Another group of thugs who will try to make use of any kind of setpiece opportunity." Thread is a sensational read isn't it. Plenty of them seemingly going to get a shock when Ugarte isn't starting or on the bench either

  13. Yeah, was a weird sub. Said to my lad I'd have left him on and still did Bailey on the other side as he looked lively aswell. Bizarre they kept trying to go long to Watkins when Burn and Fabi were bossing him. But enough of how the opposition could have gotten to us πŸ˜…
  14. Without getting too carried away or sounding disrespectful to any of the rest of our lads, who I love to a man, seeing this guy in our team is like watching Usain Bolt running the 100m 15 year ago. Everyone's doing the same thing, but they're not.
  15. Thought Onana was excellent for them today and Rogers looked bright 2nd half but other than that we've brushed aside a fairly average team without doing anything special ourselves. Which means we're fucking mint
  16. 3 - 0 on your big day out did you say?
  17. Quality-wise I feel this is a very average game. Keep our heads and we win this by 3 or 4, no drama needed at all
  18. Thanks to work connections I typically get to go to our games at the Etihad and Anfield most seasons in the posh seats, I generally have no problem being clandestine and "on best behaviour" etc but the outrage when someone has the temerity to put a tackle in or sometimes even get within 2 yards of their player...fuck me
  19. 100%. I know there's lots of reasons for Man City's current "struggles" but Pep's teams have always been pretty ropey defensively it's just that teams are/were always too scared to have a go so just hoof it and give them the ball back so they can re-organise.
