Quite apt a lad whose surname sounds like a LOTR character going to Mordor
-
Then Chris Foy for Spurs

Aye I thought we were class in our 3-3-3 formation. As insightful as expected from this clown.

Same, bit concerned they were the only times we touched the ball in the few minutes I had it on though 😅

Krafu played at least once last season when he was coming back from injury but can't remember any other occasions

Interesting, they're a 777 club (or were) and there was talk of PIF taking a few of their clubs off their hands recently wasn't there? Could be an easy win for them (and us) picking up a handful of clubs 777 have dropped in the shit.

I've got a vague recollection that when he was there before he said pretty early that he didn't want to stay, but then they had weeks/months of Potter almost looking like he was trying to build the team around him before he got the tin tack. Was bizarre, but standard Chelsea these days I suppose.

Mark Gillespie wandering around the Quayside market yesterday early afternoon

Be done by tomorrow dinnertime given Parish's fetish for the red clubs

I try never to get too carried away or evangelical about individual players and performances, but thought this man summed up what it meant to be one of us today. Choose between savage, collosus, immense, all three, add your own, please yourself, he was fucking superb.

Mags at Hummel and in our marketing department marra

Anyone who thinks we'll have a worse season in terms of points and position than last season, when we're only playing once a week and less all the baggage (injuries/knackered) that came with that, is either completely out of their mind or is going all in on the "Newcastle have had an unstable summer Eddie for England" carry on.
-
Can't wait for it to come out that when Guehi refused to sign a new contract his agent had said to Parish "if you want to keep a superstar player you need to pay superstar money" and he fucks off for nothing
-
The website saying he was going to City said he was going to Barcelona about an hour before

It's honestly one of football's great mysteries to me how everyone in the game when talking about him goes on about what a smashing bloke he is (granted Shearer's his mate). He's never come across to me as anything but a complete tosser, even before we had the pleasure of him in the dugout.

Gone 2-0 in the predictions thread, but 5-0 and Russell Martin sent off after Tindall makes some crack about him pulling Lucy Pinder please

Women at 1, men at 4

If we can design a way to play that all he has to do is run into space and receive the ball moving into the final third and decide to cross or shoot then execute he'd genuinely look borderline elite. Where he's so frustrating is when he comes so deep he almost suffocates us trying to play out on our side. The worst thing is it happens because he's trying to help out, if he could make head rule heart he'd be unreal.

Seen a handful of absolutely shocking away snides tonight, obviously based on whatever Footy Headlines said 6 month ago
-
First half it was very noticeable how he'd take up specific positions in midfield when BDB had the ball, so we either had an overload in the middle or BDB had a free pass to Gordon. We're evolving tactically and we've got the players to do it. Always geek out when we've got a "new move" 😂

Usual pre-season disclaimers aside, thought this guy absolutely bossed it tonight, looked immense.
