I think you're right on the money regarding line-up and Gordon covering Wolt' once he's kacked. Gordon is out for Bournemouth, he should be emptying his tank and playing the full 90 (unless there's some reason not to). Speaking of Bournemouth and to your point about the midfield, I'd like to see Miley start. If at minimum he can't be competent for 60' in a 3 with any of Bruno/Big Joe/Sandro then I don't even see the reason to even keep him. Miley needs minutes to improve and we're playing with fire to start the aforementioned 3 midfielders for every game. Nothing stopping any of them coming on at 60~ mins to see out the game.

I don't think it's really even debatable. Obviously 'best' can be subjective, but if you simply look at it as who is the hardest to replace, Tonali is far and away the answer. Honestly this is my biggest fear. As mentioned above, replacing him is ridiculously difficult. Tonali is a cool customer, so it's not easy to see how invested he is in our city, culture and team. Hopefully we can get a fresh contract sorted and a few more years of him because I do think inevitably he'll move on for more money and chances at glory.

Not sure tracking back and work rate are things you can point to as lacking from Bruno. I haven't seen what you have I guess. I have seen a bit of sloppiness/indecisiveness with the ball but he's pretty much always running (even if slowly), evidenced by the fact he has covered the most distance in the PL for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons.

To be fair to the lad, he should have gotten a Wolves man sent off and he had a couple of bright spots. The little interchange on edge of the box was fantastic, just a shame his end product is missing atm. Suprising really as that is something he's been reliable for. I expect he'll improve, as will most the squad. Think we're still finding our feet.

There are different grades for ACL injuries and varying degrees of pain, swelling and mobility limitations. I don't think he played on for 5-10 mins following the fall. IIRC there was one offensive action from Senegal before Wissa sat down following flexing his leg and clearly feeling something wrong. I've reuploaded the video of the incident for those who are curious (old link had expired). Shows him walking, stretching and going down and also replays of the awkward fall. Not sure you can blame this on the number of minutes played, truly just shite luck.
